my winter white hamster doesn't like escaping from her cage. she always stays on her place

My hamster climbs in his old cage bars too BUT he KEEPS falling down! Once i was watching him he CLIMBED ACROSS THE TOP OF HIS OLD CAGE and fell.....

hi, i'm thinking of getting a winter white hamster annd i just wnna know if

A. Are They Friendsly?

B. Do they bite?

C. Do they really active?

D. Do they like all those tunnels, and balls, and runners?

and if you do not suggest this hamster which one do you suggest?

B: So far never bit me

C: Not really, If you like active hamster you should get Roborovski which is super active is more fun to watch but you can play with them, only watch them play.

D: Hamsters like tunnels, balls, runners.

Is all depends on your preference, if you want to play with them don't get Robo

@hazelnuts01 thanx, and what cage do you think would be good for a hamster becuase i've heard those "CritterTrails" are really bad annd of course i want my hamster 2 have sumthing to do wen i'm not there so what do you think i should do?

For my hamster I have both cage, aquarium type and critterTrails type from what I observed, they prefer CritterTrails, they can climb around the cage and have more things to do, is fun to watch them climb around looking for escape route :p and it usually come with the running wheel, house and feeding bowl n stair. The disadvantage of CritterTrails they can escape if you forget to close or didn't close properly and their beddings come out all over the place.

@hazelnuts01 thnx 4 all the help becuz picking out a cage was the biggest thing for me. i think i might switch the wheel for a more silent one but other then thatt i think i'll get a Penn- Plax or Crittertrail. thanx soo much:)

you can get hamster from any pet shop. they sells accessories plus detail description on the hamsters type

well i got my robo hamster on the 19th already and my dad sayd they r too expensive i got the cage i have right now ( check my videos 2 c the cage) from my aunt cause she used 2 have a hamster but my robo is like 1 month i guess its really tiny

@lousia500 Hi, it definitely not enough space for 4 robo, robo hamster is very active hamster and require lots of space to play / running around. try get bigger space.

that looks just like my hamster, except mines got an abcess on the left cheek.. shes gone kinda blind in her left eye and am giving her atibiotics 2 times a day.. today i came to find that the top of the abcess is peeling away and she is loosing her fur around that area.. any help?

take her to the vet. thats the only way you can find out what is wrong with her and how you can properly treat her. you should never give animals human antibiotics (i dont know if you did that but just to let you know) hope she gets better soon :)
