@TheLibertas2 I understand where you are coming from. This is definitely not his music or where he's comfortable. Kevin's voice suits his solo music the best. In my opinion he shouldn't do BNL songs in a solo gig unless they're the ones he's written, mostly because when I go and see Kevin Hearn live I'll want to see Kevin Hearn and not the Barenaked Ladies. If you haven't listen to Driftwood by him. You'll see where I'm coming from when I say his voice fits with his music.
Sorry phatmatt, but I completely disagree with your opinion. Kevin has one of the most unique, ethereal and wonderful voices in the music industry. This video is not representational, check out any of his solo albums, especially his latest with Lou Reed and Laurie Anderson. Awesome stuff Kevin.
Kevin's voice certainly puts a different spin on this song. He sounds so much more vulnerable than Page; it comes off sounding more like a heartfelt plea than a threat. I like it.
I can't believe that some of you roody-poos have never heard Kevin sing before. He sings on most of their albums!

I love Kevin. This song suits him well. It's so different without Steve, but BNL will press on and still be amazing. This video proved that.
