  • omg look at her face

  • Mulher danada muito bom valeu

  • High register makes me think of a theremin. She's KILLIN. Interesting to hear old style playing.

  • With the trombone she made quite a few amateur mistakes with her slide (playing a note or a wrong position then changing her mind with a continous spring of air making a gliss or a fall where I'm sure it wasn't written. Either way she did it with confidence so it still sounded nice.

  • Old music was so much more expressive than nowadays pop music: it can be super energetic or mild and romantic. The world is coming to an end...

  • Hadde aldri hørt om dama før jeg oppdaga henne ved en tilfeldighet i kveld - hun er da relativt fantastisk, spør dere meg

    Terje H

  • Neat! I really liked the selections, especially "Chanson" -- beautiful! Danke schon!

  • Amazing they have outdone us in our own music. The irony,a european, white, woman playing traditional jazz like this is amazing.

  • @1955gasman Sad but true.

  • wow they are so amazing! especially gunhild. shes so talented

  • Bravo to the solos on the trumpet, especially in Charity! So much in the mood and style I like!

  • Outstanding! I can't believe they exist, time warp factor!!!

  • Gunhild is an amazingly gifted person. You can find some youtube vid on here of her playing when she was about 8.

Everybody loves Gunhild and she speaks English better than me, so she will understand.

She does have CD's just google gunhild carling big band magic swing.

The family does play together. Dad: trumpet, Mom:Banjo, Sister, Gerd: Sax piano t-bone trumpet, piano and has a PHD, bro, Max: drums, Ulf: sax, clarinet or visa versa.

  • I've never heard that kind of fast vibrato on a trombone before. Incredible. I also hate her for hitting those super-high notes.

And I refuse to believe that she can go from t-bone to trumpet. It took me about a half hour to readjust my em... aw crap I can't spell it, you know, lips... from larger to smaller. So she didn't do that, it's all a dream. ;-)

p.s. how do you say "I love you" in Swedish?

  • @Tanker60a3

    Jag älskar dig

ä sound like when you think and don't know the word "eeh"

    the dig sounds like deij

i can't write fonetics, but i hope you understand...
