  • The Statue of Liberty part always seems to get me. I always run out of time before I reach the museum.

  • Yeah, it took me about a week of practice, and a map right in front of me to get it just right. A cool sequence, but those damn cars can really slow you down. Add to the fact that it's the only part of the game that's a bit harder with the mouse (you can only pick one control style for the entire game), and it can be very frustrating.

  • @elbryan42 Yeah, I just did a video of this game myself, and on the Statue of Liberty section, you can see me not making very good progress with the mouse! That being said, when I was a kid, I didn't have a mouse, so I played the whole game with a keyboard! The statue part was easier, but busting ghosts was WAY harder, LOL!

  • Yeah, I used a big gravis joystick myself. This is actually the first PC game I bought! :)

  • It's the wrong Nintendo-controller:p

  • You noticed that too huh? :P

  • @elbryan42 hard not to(a) I grew up on these movies:P

  • I haven't thought of this game in almost twenty years. Used to play this on my Tandy TL 1000. Fuck, I feel old now.

  • I have the map!

    I'll explain it for you.

    it's a 7 by 7 grid

on the left side downwards the streets are: wood, mill, high, polk, park, moss, oak, bell

on the top across from left to right

    41st, 42nd, 43rd, 44th, 45th, 46th, 47th, 48th

The museum is located on 45th street between polk and park.

    I hope this helps you.

  • The best version of Ghostbusters 2

  • sucky music on game version xD

  • Thank You! You uploaded this over a year ago but my search brings me to it now! I have been wanting to see the ending of this game for years! The museum sequence is great, much like the Amiga version, they are just like the movie. Thanks for uploading the game in its entirety.

  • Shit, even in a video, the slime collecting levels make me nervous. Loved this game! One of the best GB games ever, in my opinion.

  • or the big titted nurse at the end

  • always loved that girl in the clothing shop who was topless with the cute white tight little panties, shaking her hips

    :D

  • Whats up with the music when you collect the slime. Sounds like you are at a low budget carnival and you have to test your might for a stuffed animal

  • I had this game but lost the manual making th end unbeatable :(

  • Wasn't there a level in which you have to free the other ghostbusters from the mental institution?

  • Yes, if you die, you can save them from Parkview. Trust me, it's a waste of time. It's seemingly random if the window with a shadow in it has a Ghostbuster in it or not. If it doesn't there's two orderlies that you have to avoid, and the timing has to be exact. So either you save a Ghostbuster right away, or there's a good chance that you'll lose another one.

In the end, you either deal with the loss, or not die. But a loss of a Ghostbuster means one less hit when you fight Vigo.

  • ...i played this thing wayback, man!. But i always got stuck on the "statue of liberty" level.. Can somebody tell me how in the hell could i pass that level?

  • I never could beat it back in the day either. It really helps to play with the mouse, BTW. I used to play with the joystick, which really sucks. As for the Statue of Liberty level, you need to get to the museum on 45th street between Polk and Park Street. You need to use the map that came with the manual, or make one of your own.

  • The map was like this. It's a grid. From left to right, it's 41st to 48th streets, and up to down it's Wood, Mill, High, Polk, Park, Moss, Oak, and Bell streets. To change direction, you must place both feet down together in the intersection you need to change direction at.

The Statue slows down the more cars you step on. Right either lowers the left foot or raises the right, and left lowers the right foot or raises the left. And up and down moves the current foot when it's fully raised.

  • So yeah, you have to do the level almost exactly perfect or you run out of time and it's game over.

  • @elbryan42 ... thanks man , i got it, let me get this straight, the museum is where the "x" is at,right?... once the level begins where do you start off?. Ha!..i was worse... i used to play it on keyboard.

  • It's been years since I saw the map with my own eyes, but I'd assume that X marks the spot. Either way, like i said, it's halfway between Polk and Park, on 45th street. As for where you start off, it's completely random. I like it when you start on 45th, that way you just pick north or south and keep going until you reach the museum.

  • @elbryan42 Thanks man, for real I'll let you know how i did. Seriously dude, its been like what...20 years?..sice didn't have a clue and left that game undone, haha. Back on the good'ol dos days

  • i played the NES version it plays similar to the game boy version too as well

  • Dynamix, badass games since 1992...

  • Have u ever played 'BloodNET: A Cyberpunk Gothic' for the DOS, elbryan42?

If so & if u liked it, u think u can post a walkthrough of the entire game sometime in the future?

  • Nope, never heard of it at all.

  • This really brings me back to my childhood when PC gaming was king.

  • LOL, shortest walkthrough you've ever done.

  • Have you played the Nes version Rob?

  • Yes, I have. I don't rememeber it being very good. I would really like to get ahold of the European version, or the Gameboy game, as it looks much better.

  • lol i love dos games... this has cool EGA graphics.
