I woke up one morning in the ICU only to find out that I had DKA and went into a coma for a week..the Doctors were amazed that I survived the night.I do not remember anything except vomiiting so when my husband replay's the story it is like hearing a story of someone else! I did have after affects as the months passed by,It was a wake-up call for me though,I no longer think "It won't happen to me"...Thanks for the video,I hope this will help at least 1 person......peace.

Yeah, if you can afford health care and have the desire. There is also the paltry rate of disability. Quality of life matters not quantity.
