  • I love this lady. I feel like it's a friend teaching me in my lounge, such a natural teacher and amazing belly dancer. I really hope Keti comes to the UK one day to teach.

  • I am a beginner/intermediate dancer, do you think you could do a demo on types of undulations and how they work with umis? What I mean to say is straight up/down movements like a hip lock& pop? Belly roles are fun and anyone who can do a reverse belly roll- well then that's just amazing. Thankyou for this demo- never hurts to go back to the basics& love your costume by the way!

  • Beautiful! I love the costume too. I have also noticied some really cute hip scarves in your videos here on You Tube. Where do they come from? Thanks.

  • Thank you for your demonstration!

  • thanks soo much for this!! I was just wondering though, whyy always from a diagonal and never the side? And I LOVE your costume!! Where did you get it from? I can't find any good places=/ Thanks again!!=D

  • Hi, its an Eman Zaki costume...and I personally think the move looks best from a diagonal, but you can do it either front or side on if you choose to.

  • @ksharif ok I see then. Sorry, kinda new to belly dance, looking back at this, I feel kinda slow lol . Thank you:)

  • @poiZnndSkY14

Just a thought try ebay thats where i get all my costumes at good prices too......better then amazon or any other place i've been.....check it out see what u think!

  • You're welcome! Yes the gracefulness comes with increased flexibility, relaxed breathing, increased body awareness & body confidence and of course...practice :)

  • Thank you. That does help. I'm learning how to isolate my muscles. It's hard! One more question: does the gracefulness come with increased ability? I feel like a 2X4 board!

  • They are the Rectus Abdominus group - most commonly known as your "6 pack". They are are group of muscles in 4 main sections that start just under your ribs and extend down to your pelvis. Their job is to bend your back forward, the same movement involved in a basic crunch. The secret is to be able to identify the sections and contract each independently. Try various "sit-ups" and you will see how different angles of incline affect different segments of the ab rec group...hope that helps.

  • That previous reply was me. I was signed in as my daughter! Oops! Thanks again!

  • @ksharif Your costume looks great and the breakdown of each individual move helps alot when it comes to perfecting this movement.

  • I'm just learning. Can anyone help me identify the muscles she talks about? I still can't do it. I tighten one muscle, they all tighten! Help!

  • thank u for the move coz i was damn wondering how to do that!!!!!!!111

  • Keti's book on belly dance is very good if you want to learn simple and easy.........

  • thanks

u made it easier than the other!!!
