considering you save thousands of dollars going this route, I don't see why quality is such an issue. If you need a watch with 3000$ worth of quality uyou seriously have a problem! These look cool and probably function somewhat well. Even if it doesn't you aren't out that much FWIW.
Don't do it... Quality is obviously lacking. The subdial indications are "arse backwards" (the 3 o'clock is the constant seconds NOT the 12 o'clock). Not to even mention the "6" and "12" on the original are "halved"; subdials split the numbers.
Sure, if you wanna gamble your $ on reliability go for it. But, I'll tell ya; don't go around showing-off and bragging about your "Flightdeck". Because, god forbid, somebody be there who actually knows what one looks like and how it functions.
I think this copy is pretty low quality. I noticed how the video avoids showing the back of the watch? Does the U boat needle move once per second ? I don't have a U boat watch, but my Rolex needle sweeps smoothly round the dial. Weird... 20 euros for these ? Only if you want to be joke of the year that badly..
@killedlikeaLlama You've never owned nor held a rolex(which is vastly overrated) by the mere fact that you would know the difference between "mechanical" watches and "quartz" watches. The reason your Non-existent sweeps is because it is drivin by a spring and the torque is slowed down by a pallet fork, balance wheel, etc to create a time keeping device. Quartz movements, like the above(and timex on your wrist) are driven by batteries which powers an electronic device which tics.
@bestvidsdottk so what dumbass whats the point he payed 100$ or 200$ and its pretty much the same as a 3000$ u-boat watch so who gives a shit of how the watch work all he want is a u-boat that look like a real ...
@yy76 the casing should be black not silver, part of the twelve and the six should be missing as the chrono dials should be up a little further, the stop function should sweep like a rolex not tick, this is a pretty poor replica, would be spotted fake a mile off if u know what the watch should look like
that's not high grade. has a freakin quartz movement that's 100$ tops.
