The idee is great, and my english in not that perfekt. I could have miss understood this. But to give industries and tools to everyone in the world. Isn't that kind of stuped? I mean a waste of resurses? Or are you using open system? So everyone can "barrow" what they need and give it back, for example excavator.
Listen - i feel your frustration expressed as criticism - to address the criticisms - the material world sets certain constraints against us - which show up as the initial capital costs required to build and implement these machines - but we are trying to use human innovation to lower those costs - its the best we can do - what more can you ask of anyone?
@aaronmakaruk I can't ask anything of you, we all live our own lives. Frankly right now I'm just happy you guys are entertaining interaction from the web at large as I think it's key to understanding the place you're trying to innovate to (the brain of the every-person).
@aaronmakaruk@aaronmakaruk…and I agree, you're trying to innovate, to lower the costs, and evolve the technology... but where is this likely to lead? Open source self sufficiency for all? Or just an innovative farm equipment company? I know which I'd prefer.
@quietthomas Also, if your strapped for cash, I might suggest looking at
earlyretirementextreme . com
I read his book, and the principle is to save a large portion of your paycheck, upwards of 50%-90%. He did this by cutting back his expenses, not spending money on toys and gadgets, find cheaper ways to do stuff like wash laundry, living without TV, not owning a car, etc. He saved enough in I think 5 years to effectively be able to retire living his reduced lifestyle(150k+$).
@Greltam Bet that was fun. Myself I live a very meager existence, which is alright by me, as I don't appreciate the pitfalls of consumption, capitalism, and the banking system. I do appreciate hard work when the work is worthwhile. I suppose like everyone I am trying to live a worthwhile existence. So getting out of the trap of money = freedom, is what I'm on about. Each video I see here reminds me that marcinose is not about that. Frustrating. Thanks for the link and conversation.
@slmrcs it better be everywhere considering the amount of specialization that's required to build their shit. Let's face it, this is targeted at entrepreneurs. It's not for everyone. Just those interested in the "trillion dollar industry" SMACKS of double speak if you ask me. Open source with no information on where to start may as well be closed source. Good luck to 'em, but don't count on a revolution when there's not even online community building going on.
@quietthomas I wouldn't say it's targeted at entrepreneurs.. but people that want to get out of/away from the current cultural norm. Go to school, learn a bunch of useless trivia, get a degree and a cushy office job, Consume Chinese made crap, and kill the mind with endless T.V. It's people that have been so Dumbed down by culture today that they can't comprehend anything Marcin is talking about building. And they couldn't build any of this without someone holding their hands the whole way.
@Greltam ...and yet, he doesn't really give any clue as to the tricks and traps of getting start-up capital. Oh hey get away from the cultural norm! You just need to.... make a shit load of money to buy land first. Don't forget to enter the trap before leaving it!
@quietthomas Well yes, you do need money to build a tractor or any of his other machines. The fact seems to be that to make his machines would be a lot cheaper than actually buying one from a corporation like john deere.
This is true, but it doesn't solve the baseline issue of "Where to I get a lot of money" - I find it frustrating because it means it's just glossy crap. The combination of start up capital required, & a focus on creating a "trillion dollar industry" seems like business as usual to me. I think the real plan here is; have a lot of money, preach ideals you're not necessarily following, get a bunch of volunteers and donations, make a lot of profit. So where's the help for normal people?
@quietthomas I'm sorry to say, but it's not Marcin's job to tell you how to get a job, or lead you through the myriad career choices you may make. Money in essence is a tally of what somebody produces for another. You can produce food, shelter, tools, knick knacks for people. Likewise you can render services, like plumbing repair, graphic design, custom clothier, McD burger flipper, etc. If you want capital, produce more for others than you consume from them.
@quietthomas Also, His goal is to have the equipment needed to reproduce itself. So if a community wants a set, it doesn't necessarily have to come from Him. It could come from any other community that has the set. I don't believe he wants to have "Trillions of dollars." I believe he wants the System to decentralize so that it won't fail catastrophically leaving us in the middle ages.
@Greltam Like some others, he has come forward, without care of what the establishment might say or do! Others before him, like Rudolf diesel, Nicola Tesla, just to name a couple....We have opened our mouth....M's wider then some like myself, and hope to help the planet, out of the system, closed by the suppressors, to what we can achieve!
@quietthomas So tell me, Do you consider being able to weld, solder, drill and torch holes a large amount of specialization? Sad that this is where our country is going.
I could teach somebody all those skills within one day. I put full PDF instructionals up for the Pulverizer and CEB, and believe me, they're really not that complicated. Check them out, Marcin linked to the info a couple blog entries ago. Anyone willing to use their mind and get their hands a lil dirty could follow them.
@bkufa YOUR country is going down the shitter because you people always seem to think it's the world, and the world is is. That aside, kudos on responding, the rest of your lot seem pretty slack on that front. As for whether or not you're skilled; YOU FUCKING WELL ARE. But you're too dumb in other ways to notice just how skilled you are.
@quietthomas I'm very skilled and I know it. But its not hard to get there, it takes time and hard work. I got this skilled by taking FREE classes and volunteering to help people who needed things welded. It took a ton of skill and experience to build the 4 CEB presses I made, because I had little instruction, and an unfinished design.
That being said, making a press or pulverizer should be infinitely easy, as every little step is laid out. The process is long and arduous, but simple.
@bkufa and I meant "and the world is it." - you guys need a simpleton/graphic-designer/3d animator to legoise your instructions (just so people grasp the concepts before they need to know what kind of welding, or guages, or microprocessors). By the sounds of it you know how much extra intelligence is required when half designs and poor instructions comes into play. It doesn't take brains to see that will be a very real bottle neck to people understanding, and replicating your work.
@bkufa Anyone giving those PDFs even a perfunctory look, will realise the amount of serious ability required for them. Especially compared so say; straw bail housing and a hoe. You're INDUSTRIAL. Shit most don't even have access to thick metal cutting torches and welding equipment. On top of that there's the massive costs. Face it man, you're living a rich kid dream of freedom and trillion dollar profits. You're going to liberate the liberated, and they not marching in the streets.
Best of luck with this project!

@NiclasTimle89 It's the plans to build the machines that are being provided for free, not the machines themselves.
