ITV Lunchtime News - New Look - November 2009

As an American looking in, this looks quite... eccentric. Chromakey-set (which I understand has been used on ITV News for a while now, many local stations here have used them in the 80's), schedule (personally, I can't imagine the daily luncheon at half past 1) and theme (I'm not sure what to think about this rehash of the original News at Ten theme)... amusing, if not confusing.

Awful, the music sounds cheap, the graphics are cheap too! the reigional version is even worse! ITV just dosen't have an ounce of quality about it!

ITV is badly in need of a big shake up and re-vamp, maybe it will happen when Mr Asda takes over!

Because he's being counted down by the gallery and needs to fill the space.

he's only been a studio reader for nigh on 40 years. i think he knew exactly what he was doing. He just loves doing weird (pompous) sh&t like that and so that's what he did.

to be be honest the new titles look like channel 4 news, and the set and graphics is horrible, the music is ok, but why change the look of the news to match the nasty itv1 branding? if anything needed updating was the current itv1 look

but hey Monekys at ITV again think they know best
