Lo unico que Juancho quiere es el calor de tu sangre cuando se recuesta...los reptiles no reconocen practicamente nada, no son muy listos(comparados con un perro, claro) y pueden llegar a ser peligrosos si tienes niños...se pueden espantar con movimientos repentinos por ejemplo.

@XaximiIxme Éste es un punto de vista muy anticuado. Especialmente los tegus, más que otras lagartijas, tienen una inteligencia que a veces sobrepasa la de los mamiferos. Lo mismo va para las iguanas y los monitores.

Yeah I've seen tame geckos, but this lady gets scared very often, just when I to pet her when she's running arround in the sofa when we take her out of her cage as she is standing there and waving her arms to go out, she starts running really fast and lies behind the pillow. Es un lagarto colorado Argentino, también los hay overos. Éstos también son bravos, pero Juancho es muy manso. =)

No son la misma especie de la que tú hablas, estos lagartos son originarios de Argentina y son vienen bastante más grande. Juancho es una hembra de 12 años, más chica que los machos. Los garrobos son más cercanos a las iguanas. =)

Los garrobos son iguanas negras que, como los lagartos overos, son verdosas en su juventud. Son muy diferentes a los lagrtos, excepto porque ambos son reptiles. =)

Pasa que sólo has visto iguanas verdes pero no todas son iguales. En Argentina los puedes encontrar por todo el centro norte del país, a veces se venden como mascotas también. =)

Sí, este tipo de lagarto también se llama tegu y esa es otra principal diferencia con las iguanas: son carnívoros.

Of course, they make great pets, as you can see in the videos, but I have to say that you will have to take good care of them, it's not just a dog that you can give yourself a break and he will be fine. You also need space for a big enclosure if you dont have a place where he can be free roaming, remember they can get everywhere and it's hard to take them out lol. =)

Hola! Qué bueno que te haya gustado, te cuento que allá en España pueden conseguirse pero no es tan fácil ni barato, hace unos meses me enteré que en Barcelona tenían uno a 180 euros. Son de sangre fría, por lo que no son tan delicados con la temperatura, pero lo mejor es que tomen mucho sol y tengan un buen espacio en especial parque, el mío anda suelto por toda la casa. Cualquier cosa escríbeme a mi perfil. Saludos! =)
