You should try playing mariachi music. I think you would have lots of fun. Some great ones are La Cecilia, Las bodas de Luis Alonso, Cascabel, Cascabel 2 and sooooo many more! Try that style it 'might' be a little challenge =) Just look up one of those song titles here on youtube so can listen to them. Best Wishes!

@54born2win Sort of, yeah. I'm the Exec. Project Manager at Woogi World, an international online educational/entertainment kid's website. I'm also the Music Chair and have my own Music Club on the virtual website where I have about 20,000 or so kids signed up as members :) Music isn't my bread and butter as far as income goes, but it sure encompasses everything I do. Thanks for asking!

@BenChanViolin I wish I could play, violin is an elegant instrument, but back when I was being given lessons, that was before I was in the right mindset to make decisions and such, so after that I moved onto trumpet and gave it up after the first quarter of 5th grade(violin was 4th grade).

@sonikku35 yeah I started out playing the violin when i was in the 4th grade too but then I switched to viola since I didn't know how to read the notes for violin. I still play the viola, but I somewhat wish I still played the violin since all the music I want to play is all in treble clef so it's hard for me to read it >.< and I'm not good at 4th position so it's hard XP

@edwardfulllmetal My private teacher also strongly encouraged me to begin viola, after I shot up to 5'11, by the age of 13. I picked up a viola and it felt soo much more comfortable than my violin, just because of the size, and my vibrato is much more relaxed and beautiful on the viola. I still prefer my violin, though, I don't think the viola is as pretty an instrument as the violin :)
