itll be as cold as it gets then probably about 8 degrees no worries with a 4/3 tho and hood for sure

this day is average, we were out most of the day and the swell was a weak wind swell and quite west. but this wave goes off so to tezarine, when your in your car with your board on the roof, highway surfing(as townies do) remember to keep telling yourself and your friends that the south caoast is fat and crumbly bro

Nah, it needs a bigger swell to break properly. holds well with a 3m swell on the incoming tide. the best size is about double overhead cause it seems to hit the reef on the outside and roll over the rest of the point.

Like every break it needs the right swell to really perform.

Right but, how often do you surf at this place? Because I went twice to NZ, but i just have surfed at spots around Auckland, Ragland and Hawke´s Bay... never been at any spot in South Island....

I have moved to Auckland now, the 4 years I lived in Invercargil, that spot broke nearly every week. South Island surf is great in the autumn winter and spring when the big Antarctic ground swells come in.

It is a bit hit and miss as all surfing is. but if you based yourself on the south coast the chances of finding a surf each day are pretty good. There is more surf in the south island than the north by far tho, but it is wet suit surfing nearly all year round.
