  • I don't see the attraction in this music but hey, evidently people do or there wouldn't be an 150k plus views.

  • Best part is 0:00-3:59

  • I remember when all I heard vocal wise from Lord Worm was on Blasphemy Made Flesh. As soon as I heard this song, I shit my pants. Lord Worm's vocal performance on this album is outstanding. One of death metal's best.

  • trazan, is that you?!

  • 0:00 - 00:09 Chewbacca is Irritated !

  • love the description..lol

  • I LOVE THESE DRUMS !

  • Wow this is so fucking sick !!!

  • @911violentagro

He plays a very nonlinear style. It doesn't fit so much by itself as it does in the context of the other instruments around it. Cryptopsy is probably the hardest band to learn to listen to, but when you catch on, they're one of the most amazing bands out there. Damn those solos shred.

  • because this isnt music. this is noise. blasting this would be horrible noise. i truly dont even belong here commenting, i got here by a link somebody posted...saying that this "works every time" when hes mad.....you all need some good pussy trust me, THAT works every time !!!

  • @Lokiito503 You're right that you don't belong here.

Being angry isn't the only reason I'd listen to this.

I'll just say, if you listen to reggeton or something similar (apparently just rap/hip hop, which is better but meh), fuck you you're a faggot, the same beat over and over again everywhere is much less "music" than this. This takes shitloads more skill to play and is way more musically interesting.

Also... aren't you recommending people to go out and rape women out of anger?

  • @tunglour reggaeton can be annoying sometimes, but hip hop is evolving as we speak. im an aspiring music producer and i agree alot of the music out right now sounds the same, nd i have a goal to differentiate it. Something had to go wrong in your life to be defending this "music" so much. but then again not everybody lives life to its full potential.

by the way you wouldnt have to rape anybody if you had a few girls in your phonebook to call and make it happen....

  • @Lokiito503 I defend death metal and extreme metal way more then I do rap and other stuff I like and I do not look like I listen to metal at all. This is not noise, this is just really fast and heavy music. If you don't like it don't make negative comments just ignore it.

  • @MrBURFDAY good point, im never the guy that posts negative comments either. I love music as much as the next guy, its just that i was never introduced to this kind of music, i stumbled upon it

  • @Lokiito503 If you think sex is just a meaningless way to get rid of pain then you really suck. Besides who cares what you think, you listen to drum an bass loops like reggeton (wich I know alot about cuz I am Puertorican and I live there) this music is an aquired taste but skill is in abbundance and lyrics are of many different themes not just sex and drugs like rap.

  • @FMJman2 it was only a suggestion, sex can easily cause somebody pain just as well. I already spoke about reggaeton and how it can be annoying even tho I am hispanic, I respect the fact that it takes skill to make this music, but the lyrics...well...I couldnt really understand them. When it comes to rap, ppl like Immortal Technique never go mainstream because what he raps about is real, true, and sad...and if you think lil wayne can rap you're brainwashed by the crowd.

    P.S. Merry Christmas Eve!

  • @Lokiito503 This type of music is difficult to get into I know but you should start with somthing softer or just read the lyrics first. We dont like all the music in this genre I am still looking into this band and the lyrics are set in themes of horror, necrophilia, blasphemy, insanity wich venture out of the modern world view. The bad thing about rap is that its rap, its not singing or growl its just talking in rythim with a drum loop and it will never evolve it will only transcend backwards.

  • @FMJman2

What the actual fuck are you on about? "Transcend backwards"? Quite apart from the fact that you couldn't make a coherent point if your family's life depended upon it, you generalise in exactly the same fashion as the witless chuckle-fuck who vainly attempts to persuade me that death metal is just guttural belching over tuneless instrument onanism.

And as for the ass-hat above you? "Open minded"? Money, please...

  • @glueyporchtreatments Ok..speaking about being coherent I didint cach most of what you said but I sopose its just bashing this music. If you dont think this is real music just look up a guitar or bass cover. This music requiers talent way above just making a drum and bass loop with 2-3 midi keyboards pall. and just incase you didint know english is not my native languge so pardon if "transcend" wasnt the right word.

  • @Lokiito503 Glad you chose to be open minded, and hah I barely ever pay attention to lyrics in music which I think may be a big reason why I mostly find rap boring, though not always (for now I just appreciate Reggie Watts, though what he does is hilarious too).

But yeah if you looked at the lyrics for this song you'd most likely be disgusted which I admit I was, lol...

  • @Lokiito503 If you think this is noise, you should listen to Merzbow, which actually is noise music.

  • Wow, sounds pretty awful.

  • technically you are 100% right, but cmon, imagine if this was the only kind of music in the world...

  • @Lokiito503 If this was the only kind of music in the world? That would be pretty fucking awesome.

  • @IronMaidnPinkFloyd i'd shoot myself with 2 pistols in both ears

  • @Lokiito503 This didnt go to my inbox sorry. But I listen to other genres.

  • how is this called music

  • @Lokiito503 Because theirs instruments in it. That play in a rhythmic style.

  • @Bobio1138 this and thrash metal, and maybe some neoclassical, power metal, and SOME black metal. jazz is acceptable too tho im not a fan. the music world would be perfect

  • I SEEK THE LOVING WARMTH OF YOUR ANUS

  • sounds like the drummer is fuckin up his blasts

  • @911violentagro Flo doesn't fuck up.

  • 1:55 DUUUUUUUUUUU-DUBIDUBIDUBì

  • They did that rather well.

    Don't you think?

  • best song ever. it's like taking a shit and spilling your guts over the floor

  • Exorcist 3 rules...

  • wow, no offence but this is absolutely shit.

  • @SchoolinYou if its the first time ur listening to death metal.....i understand u...it needs to be digested first...the whole music genre..WHICK ABSOLUTELY RULES

and if u do it...u will find at lords worm voice satisfaction, happiness call it waht u like:P

  • @SchoolinYou What exactly makes this 'shit' to you?

I'm not trolling, I'm genuinely interested.

  • @paparoach99 well for starters the vocals are just ridiculous. And I'm sure that guitarist and drummer are technically superb, but how the fuck do they expect anybody to feel the music when they play that quickly, if that makes any sense.

  • @SchoolinYou I can see why you'd feel that way (I myself also felt that way about this music a few years ago). I myself love it, but hey, to each his own.

  • @SchoolinYou

this music is heavy as fuck and isnt made to be that catchy and tries to stay away from comercial stuff. and vocals are just another instrument in brutal death metal to do the heavy atmosphere. kinda normal if you dont like this, people that listen to alot of brutal stuff will find this a great song.

  • @ternsenzen I usually like heavy music, this is just a bit incoherent to me.

  • @SchoolinYou

this is made to stay away from being catchy for everyone. only people onto brutal death metal will like this. i find this with a fast groovish rhythm .and the vocals are like another instrument in this genre.

  • @SchoolinYou One day, you will like it ( maybe ) i'm 13 and 1 year ago i thought that metal with guttural vocals was boring..now, 2011..i have like 60 brutal death metal cds ;p

  • Comment removed

  • @SchoolinYou

Most people sit that way when they first encounter this genre. Give it a little time and eventually you'll grow to love it.

  • It's so fast I can't seem to notice all the rythm variations inherent to Technical Death Metal :D

  • I want this to be played at my funeral, so moving...

  • all of the youtube trolls who critique and attempt to define metal but couldn't write or play this shit can go suck a dick.

  • children. stop bitching, its always with the bitching. Christ, do you all need to have your vaginas rubbed or something. haha. I like this band. and this song.

  • most romantic song i ever played

  • And then the comment box was funny.

People are allowed to listen to whatever they want. They are also allowed to argue, but a legit point should be made (I E not just pointless insults but actual objective arguments). I had to deal with a deathcore fan on a vid for Dying Fetus' Homicidal Retribution who used the former of the argument methods.

But yeah, if you don't like something, OBJECTIVELY argue against it.

Song is probably one of my favorites on the album.

  • deathcore is just a shitty, generic version of death metal for faggots in girl pants to dance to. end of discussion.

  • @dfhellraiser4td Thank you.

  • @MrCatFetish So you're saying rather that nothing is subjective? Least of all musical opinion? You know what's hilarious about that? You're expressing a musical opinion, thereby confirming that things ARE INDEED SUBJECTIVE.

  • @GodlessAeon I never said that so please stop putting words in my mouth. There's a difference between saying "In my opinion Rebecca Black is more musically complex than Tchaikovsky" and saying "I think Morbid Angels 1st album was better than their 2nd". If you think Death metal is just distorted guitars and growling, you've proven that you know nothing about music. You're dumbing down one of the most complex genres of music by picking out two characteristics and saying "Yep this is what DM is."

  • @MrCatFetish Lol first and foremost... I highly, highly doubt you're a professor of musical theory, so you can throw your 'I'm more knowledgeable about music than you' bullshit out the window immediately and permanently. Number two...are distorted guitars are growling not two major qualifiers of the genre? If the answer is yes, then there is absolutely no reason to whine about my statement. I'm simply trying to point out that there are similarities.

  • And we never once mentioned the difference in complexity between the two, you've only said that the entire genre was mediocre. (Please stop putting words in my mouth). There's a distinct difference between opinion, and factual statements. Let's examine the two:

    Deathcore is mediocre: Opinion.

Deathcore is less complex than death metal: Obvious fact.

  • @GodlessAeon Typical Deathcore fans defensive behaviour. They listen to generic, shitty music and when someone tells them that Deathcore is generic and shitty then they just talk about opinions and no one being wrong or right. There's a reason why established DM artists have spoken out against the atrocity that is "Modern Death Metal/ Deathcore",

  • @MrCatFetish You know what's funny? I'm not really fan of deathcore. Like I said...just a few bands. I'm just sick of all this fucking whining. God forbid death metal fans foster a sense of community...no let's just all piss and moan about other people and what they like to listen to. And what of Tori Amos? She's an established artist from whatever genre, and she spoke out against death metal. Is she correct because she's established? Or incorrect because she doesn't share your exact interests?

  • @GodlessAeon We do have a sense of community. We just don't like Deathcore? What's wrong with that? Tori Amos did not speak out against Death Metal. She just made an extremely generic statement about Metal having no emotion, despite probably only having listened to bands like BFMV and Slipknot. Even her fans said she was just being plain ignorant. My point is that Deathcore is the latest metal fad and I don't see why we should accept it. Fads like Glam died out and so did Nu-Metal.

  • @MrCatFetish The fact of the matter is musical interest is subjective, and you're in the wrong for attacking others based on their preferences. Your opinion of those preferences is irrelevant; The fact that bands you like have spoken on the subject is irrelevant; That doesn't make you or them correct, nor does it give you the right to condemn someone for their interests...and no amount of complaint will make it so.

It is ALL OPINION. You're allowed yours as everyone else is allowed theirs.

  • @GodlessAeon I can say whatever the fuck I want. Does the church get shit for saying that Satan is bad even though there are genuine Satanists in the world? No. I should be able to say whatever the fuck I want without someone whining about how we should all be nice to each other and frolic through the flowers. If they want to listen to shitty deathcore that's fine with me. I'll just rip on them for it and no one is going to stop me from doing just that.

  • @MrCatFetish I absolutely agree. We should all be so close-minded and small. I'm going to go punch a kid right now for having musical tastes that contradict my inflexible and antiquated beliefs.

  • @GodlessAeon Yes because I'm really punching kids. And I didn't say anything about you talking about JFAC being death metal. What you said was "Isn't death metal just growling and distorted guitars anyway?". Yes those are elements of death metal and yes JFAC do have those elements. Beyond that, they have very little DM elements. I still don't understand what your point is. I'm saying that deathcore is crap and suddenly I'm close minded? Would I be close minded for saying Hitler was an asswipe?

  • @GodlessAeon It's funny that you said I shouldn't whine about your statement which said "Isn't death metal just growling and distorted guitars anyway" after you deleted the comment. Having distorted guitars and growling doesn't make you death metal. They are elements of the DM sound but they aren't the only elements. You could just as well say that the Jonas Brothers are heavy metal because they use distorted guitars at times... See why your comment was dumb?

  • @MrCatFetish Lol no, my comment was spot on. I didn't say Job For A Cowboy was death metal, did I? I said it was closer to it than some of the other bands in the genre. As you said...elements of the sound. See how your interpretation of my comment was dumb?

  • I'm so fucking sick of this deathcore debate on both sides.

  • honestly this album is probably one of the best death metal albums ever

  • um, I was sent here by a friend of mine, & ya they're pretty fucking amazing, but do they sound like CC to anyone else? (CC is amazing too)

  • @EmoJuggaletteBitch

No. I personally see a couple of similarities but this is far more technical and uses less in the way of pinch harmonics.

  • @EmoJuggaletteBitch

Well they're both classified as Brutal Death Metal bands and they both have a very technical playing style.

  • Is this guy even speaking english??

  • @TheIrland09 No. The lyrics are : Rawr blargh blah rawr rawr RAWR x 100. It's awesome.

  • DEATH core IS THIS !

  • some classic shit

  • @THEKNEEGROWBEATER deathcore sucks donkey scrotum

  • Deathcore...Mathematical? Sure...in the 2+2 = 5 sense.

  • Pray to the god that you think is above,

The one who will save you and show you his love.

No you are mine and will not be saved,

Dismembered and rotten, fucked in your grave

  • This album reminds me of, "Effigy Of The Forgotten."

  • 3:09 FRODO ! NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGHHHH XD

  • This song is fucking insane.

  • he mad.

  • Such a touching song

  • at 3:10 my me and my freinds made a circle pit around a pool table 7 people were severly injured at the end of the song.

  • LORD WORM OR GTFO

    Sucks they went to Deathcore.

  • @ThrashTillDeth666 the diference between this and deathcore is not as many high screams SOOOO UMAD?

  • @THEKNEEGROWBEATER

Umad is so mainstream. So no im not. ;)

  • @THEKNEEGROWBEATER the difference between this and deathcore is that this is creative, intricate, skillfully played, original, and mind numbingly brutal. Deathcore is regurgitated shit.

  • @PrismAndGate deathcore is much more mathmatical then thiss pal.

  • @SurvivedAbortion1 the black dahlia murder look em up

  • @THEKNEEGROWBEATER Deathcore sucks ass , they could wish that they were Old Cryptopsy

  • @THEKNEEGROWBEATER LOL. Mathematical? As in "Hurr guys if we chug on this open string for a whole song maybe something cool will happen!".

  • @MrCatFetish idk what kind of deaqthcore your litening to you prolly thinkin grindcore or goregrind...newfagg

  • @THEKNEEGROWBEATER LOL! Grindcore kicks ass. Deathcore is just shitty palm muted open strings with some random high notes thrown in. And let's not forget the INTELLIGENT AWESOME UBER PRO breakdowns! I just got called a NewFag by someone who thinks Deathcore is the new wheel.

  • @MrCatFetish I don't think it's wise to put any genre in a box as you just did. I love all kinds of music, but there is no one genre where I can say that the ENTIRE GENRE is good or bad....it's on a case by case basis. There's plenty of good grindcore...and there's plenty bad grindcore as well. They same goes for deathcore, death metal, black metal...pop music, rap and literally anything else you can think of.

  • @GodlessAeon It's different when the majority of Deathcore bands are utter shite. Deathcore on the whole is pretty shitty. There may be a few bands that do something new and creative, but the majority of Deathcore bands use the same Chug Chug Squeel Squeel sound.

  • @MrCatFetish That statement is unquantifiable...you haven't heard EVERY deathcore band EVERYWHERE. My point, I guess, is that you're not helping at all by being completely resistant. Variety is the spice of life and all that.

Besides, this kneegrowbeater guy clearly has some sort of palsy or something. Deathcore is more 'mathematical' than this? What the fuck does that even mean?

  • @GodlessAeon Well, that's like saying "Unless you have played every single £50 guitar in the world, you can't say that guitars in that price range are shit".

  • @MrCatFetish It's hardly the same thing. A cheap guitar is just that. You can pick it up and immediately tell it's inferior. But in music there are too many integers. Have you never experienced an album that grew on you? I can think of plenty of bands I wrote off immediately after hearing...but after investing some time in have become some of my favorite artists. The guitar will never appreciate in value...it can't. Music can.

You should try not to think of things in terms of black and white.

  • @GodlessAeon Ah, but a cheap guitar can grow on someone too. Just like my shitty squier strat. But only because I haven't really played anything better. I never said that every single Deathcore band is shitty. But when Deathcore comes to mind, the bands like Whitechapel, JFAC, Suicide Silence and the likes are always at the forefront. And Deathcore fans cite those bands as being representative of the genre, so I will rip on them for that. Sometimes keeping your mind too open promotes mediocrity.

  • @MrCatFetish Some of the bands that wane toward the death metal side of the sound don't bother me. Job for a Cowboy is one of those bands. Suicide silence is of course crap. But some of the more technical stuff is actually terrific. I might even say 'cutting edge.' Rings of Saturn, Wrath of Vesuvius, Hiroshima Will Burn...great stuff. Still a lot of 'core' elements present.

By the way, mediocrity is subjective. (Unquantifiable statements).

  • @GodlessAeon JFAC is not very death metal. Distorted guitar with growls =/= Death Metal. It's more like Meshuggah mixed with some Death Metal elements. And that's not a good thing. If mediocrity is subjective then I can argue everything is subjective. I am as good of a writer as H.P Lovecraft and as good at singing as Daniel Heiman. Because you know, everything is subjective and no one can actually prove that they are better than me. Cuz it's all opinions and stuff.

  • he did do that rather well

  • Hard to believe after Worm left Cryptopsy he went to be an English teacher. God I wish he could teach my English class.

  • @lildude234 Lol, he did? Good for him, though

  • @lildude234 I think he was teaching English to foreign people or EDL,not high school or university.

  • K ill check it out bro sounds brutal

how long have you been into death metal? i can hear them pretty easily.

that's why i started listening to goregrind because songs like necropedophile were getting too graphic lol

  • @gianaleer I can understand the lyrics when I read them while listening to the song.

  • 3:09 IS THE SHIT!!!

  • peopel say girls cant listen to type of this music well i can :3

  • @gianaleer Look up the lyrics poser.

  • Damn good song. Great music, wicked lyrics. And the vocals are so easy to sing along to! :3

  • is there anymore metal this awesome left? if there is, please do tell

  • @gianaleer

I'm convinced they record the vocals and then write the lyrics afterwards. I've been listening to metal for a long time, and never has there been a band who's lyrics and vocals are so hard to decipher. But whatever, this song and this album are fucking fantastic.

  • The intro is from The Exorcist III.

  • Exorcist III.

  • Playing this at my wedding.

  • @LeTempleDuSoleil that would be fucking epic man can i go haha

  • @gianaleer They don't translate to anything. The lyrics are: Rawr Rawr Rah! Rawr Rawr Rah! Raaaaah!

  • ...Ich bin hart.

  • Intro is from Lord Worm´s sex tape

  • i do that rather well...dont you think?

  • @conquerthecemetery lol your funny

  • @PigDestroyer101 lol, I know right. I was totally roflmaoing at his comment that was made out of sheer idiocy.

We should go make a smart-dick forum.

  • Makes me want to punch an African baby in the face. Fucking Bravo.

  • What the fuck is he saying?

  • @moriya2k2 OOO, ROO ROO ROO,, WAHHHH, UGH RUU RUUU RUUU WOOOWAHHHHH.

Sounds like dogs violently have sex at the start.

  • @moriya2k2 words.

  • @ConquerTheCemetery dude grind incorporates cryptopsy:)

  • FRODO!!!!!!!!

  • @markfsa why frodo?

  • @akhimakhi93 listen to his scream at 03:09, doesnt it sound like it?

  • algunas partes son muy saturadas

  • @Fall4Kingdom Now I understand.

  • @Fall4Kingdom What kind of poinless comment is that supposed to be?

  • I miss old cryptopsy

  • I listened to this whilst on drugs. I thought it would sound awesome due to the groove bits at 1:19 etc, but it just made me feel anxious, haha.

  • @kick52 What kind of drugs? Weed would make it sound better but anything else would make it fucking scary lol

  • @SurvivedAbortion1 MDAI, it's similar to MDA/MDMA. Legal in my country.

  • @kick52 Interesting.

  • @kick52 Smoke some weed and listen to Benedictine Convulsions. It will blow your mind into bits of Death Metal perfection.

  • @AQganon thou shalt not smoke weed when listening to death metal. Go for the doom stuff dude.

  • @Eukatheude I've tried man! I just respect Cryptopsy a lot more when I'm stoned. I usual listen to Mastodon's Crack The Skye for the perfect experience. \m/

  • @AQganon Well that's unusual. The only death metal i enjoy while stoned is the old school american stuff (early Death, morbid angel, obituary and the likes) and some Carcass.

    Ever tried Electric Wizard?

  • @Eukatheude Electric Wizard was cool, just not the right music for my personal experience. Who gives a fuck though? Weed is fuckin metal!

  • @AQganon lol yeah, cheers dude.

  • Lord Worm is the best.

  • Gotta love the beats and bass in this song

  • @dumbassazn Agree. One of the best rhythm sections ever.

  • @BOoSeOsix this is Herodias with the head of John the baptist and it is from Elisabetta Serani, as written in the booklet. Then you can see if people by or download it...

  • @inapoharibiwa Thanks for the info. I thought at first it was Queen 'Bloody' Mary as I remember something in history class involving.....decapitation.

  • The most amazing thing about this band is that they are from Canada, the French part to be exact. Canada+French=vomit.

  • @PTR131 I love vomit !

  • The section from 2:18 to 2:32 blows my mind

  • i swear to god this dude has the best blasts ever on this record
