It's best you forget all pretenses of previous Snares texture and tempo, but stay familiar with the form. This is quite nice. Maybe Mr. Funk wants to mix some more dance-friendly shit? I doubt it, but this release is a welcome changeup. Perhaps better than Detrimentalist.
