I've only recently come to appreciate the beauty of this old Irish hymn and, after scouring YouTube for over an hour, I must say that yours is the best arrangement and playing I've ever heard (2:50 esp.)

I've listened to the rest of your music and I have to say that I'm very, very impressed. As a self-taught pianist, I know how difficult arranging music can be and you do a marvelous job of capturing the beauty of the song without losing your individual touch on it.

Which piano patch on your S90ES are you using? Is it the full grand?

No, it was the Natural S (stereo). I mainly use the Natural and Bright patches. The full grand sounds a little clunky for my taste.

Nice, it sounds so beautiful. Have you tweaked the EQ/patch at all? It sounds so perfect. What speaker set up are you using? Sorry for all the questions, I just got an S90ES and am trying to perfect each sound :)

Are you trying to get the best sound for the room you're in or for recording? What you're hearing on the video is the direct output from the keyboard into the video camera. That's why it sounds so clean.  If you're looking for a speaker set up, I'm using two KRK 6GL studio monitors that are being fed from an Alesis MultiMix 8 Firewire mixer. It sounds very nice but it's not what you're hearing on the video.

Forgot to mention... no, I have not tweaked the EQ from the factory patch settings. I did add a little extra reverb but it's not very noticeable.

well.... it's kinda the whole thing.

I mean, I've heard the song enough times that i can play it by ear.... but it's just not the same. Cuz if you listen to other versions that other people have done 'by ear' then you notice that they aren't as good or creative as others. So........ Yah I'm struggling with the beginning parts, and I've also tried to move on to the other parts, but i'm gettin stuck. That would be WAY2COOL if you posted one. I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one to use it. THANKS!!

If it's going to take you too long.... cuz the song is pretty long.. then you could post two separate videos. One with just the right hand playing and one with just the left hand, (as long as i can tell what note you're playing.... Hey you could talk and tell us which note is which if you want) but you'll probably know what way is best. THANKS AGAIN!
