Also, surprisingly, I think this is the first of your videos where I prefer the original. There's something about Lady Gaga's voice that makes it the only one really suited for her songs. I'd chalk it up to the digital enhancements done, while the other covers you've done have been better than their original counterparts because of the stronger feelings behind them.

So after watching Poker Face the first time yesterday(Thanks to Littlekuriboh's parody called 'Brooklyn Rage'), You can imagine my mild surprise to see you did a cover again.

And Again, you don't disappoint. Your Mic disappoints for being unable to capture your voice without scratching it up on your higher notes or if it got to loud. Can't ever catch a break, huh.

Well, Awesome performance, the ad-lib was nice, yes. I prefer this to Lady Gaga's, mainly because you don't sound like a robot.

I do have a serious question: What are the chances of you (amixia) getting a good mic and selling a CD of covers? In a number of cases, I prefer your version to the original. Case in point: this one. Not only that, you'd easily make the money back on a decent mic by charging $5/CD + shipping (and that's lowballing the price.)

Because distributing a CD of covers for a price requires me to pay royalties which I cannot afford. The music isn't mine so making money off someone else's material violates copyrights, which is why I also can't put ads on my videos for revenue.

There's a program by DVDVideoSoft that makes a YouTube to mp3 converter. I've been meaning to make rips myself but I haven't really had time. Proper recordings would require me to have a mic that wasn't terrible and I've yet to find one that doesn't give me hissing noises in the background.
