@wakold actually there are 2 Koreas and they each have their pwn way of saying Korea, Korean and Korean script. In the north they call them, in that order조선, 조선어 and 조선글. What you said is only applied to South Korea.
@Aubainex Hardly; Chinese has remained in a state of arrested development with regards to its writing system. With the exception of Japanese every language in the world makes use of some kind of phonetic alphabet whilst the Chinese use a system that was at best innovative 4,000 years ago. Thank goodness the Koreans got rid of that silliiness! Hear a new word in Chinese? want to write down? YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE CHARACTER IS! That is a nightmare!
@lingosteve Perhaps, that doesn't change the fact that they are inferior as a writing system to phonetic alphabetic scripts, you are interested (and I know you like reading books) you should read 'Asia's Orthographic Dilemma', very good book and very informative.
@StarduskLanguage They shouldn't create an alphabetic system just so some random foreigner can learn Chinese better. That would make no sense. If Chinese people themselves start complaining, then we'll see changes. But that's highly unlikely.
this language is shiness no korean and I'm so proud of you that you can speak it very good waw inchallah me too I will do as you if I like sosososo much korean japess and chiness language I think chiness is more dificult the other if it's not eazy to listen to any word if it seam the same ^-^" hhhhhhhh
Nice video, i'm also learning mandarin! Maybe someone can answer my question? How can you speak so fast, and still get all the tones right? I mean like the 3rd one, it's very loooong.. so how can you speak that fast, and get them right?
Thank you, sir. A very impressive opinion about learning language. In my opinion, we should make an effort and have a good way to command a new foreign language. Especially, we should build a sound environment for ourselves. ... You are really something. We also teach Chinese on YouTube, and welcome to visit us.
Truly amazing Steve...you know, when I get tired of listening to music I listen to your uploads. Keep on doing what you do. I have a question for you, what language should I learn first russian or hangul?
@arnaldosfjunior2 Actually it's not. Hangul (한글) is the script, while hanguk (한국) means "Korea" and hangukeo or hangukmal (하국어, 하국말) means "Korean language."
Something is wrong with the sound..can't hear it...not like I'd understand it lol but I still wish I could hear it :( Sounds garbled...can hear a VERY faint voice but yeah... :(
Listen with ear buds. LEFT EAR SO STRONG!

@MrAgurken1997 the key is to listen and re-listen to dialogue that you enjoy listening to. Same with any language.
