I've got one outside I'm contemplating! I was in a 2010 f-150 but with gas difference and a 1.5% lower interest rate than what I have now it's hard to not want it. Leaps and bounds, this car had options, LOADED!! I think I'm sold at this point.

@austinmikey Ok so I finally got back online to check out the comments and saw what you paid. I am not a happy camper. Did you buy yours in Cali or back east? My son works for Ford so I get the DPlan but my tax license and everything was not below 28K but around there....I am wondering. It really does not matter I love my car, but I think next time I will work a little harder to get some extra's like the oil changes. I did get the extended I drive too much not too! Thank again!

@txlec99 Sure, I think with the feature package I got my SEL in total with tax, title, and license was around $27K. However, I was able to apply a good Ford Friends discount from my buddy who works at Ford, so that made it less.

I live in NY (Nassau County) and I was wondering, how is the car treating you during the winter months? Any sort of failures/grumblings? What kind of mileage do you have and how many miles do you have so far? Living in a somewhat similar area, I might as well ask you. I am planning on buying a car in another 8 months and any kind of detail would be really helpful in my decision.

@teddyhugz99 The car has been doing just fine so far this winter. I average about 26 or 27 mpg. I was out of town during the last couple of snow storms, so I don't yet have experience in driving in unplowed wintry conditions, but I put some Michelin X-Ice2 winter tires and no problems... I honestly have had no issues or gripes about this car at all so far. I get a lot of compliments especially when a passenger rides for the first time... the Nav and Sync are a hit.

@austinmikey Did you buy any sort of warrantys or plans with your car? And where did you get your tires swapped out? Did you have to buy another TPMS sensor when you replaced your tires (I know that most tire shops will ask to buy another TPMS sensor for each tire when replacing the tires)? Lol, I know, I am bombarding you with questions. Oh and does SYNC have climate control commands?

@teddyhugz99 Yes, I got a warranty plan... the base level one offered by the dealer. I got my tires swapped out at a local tire shop, I did not have to purchase any sensors with the tire change (but i think would have with if i changed the rims). Yes, SYNC also has the climate controls integrated into the system.

@austinmikey By the way, a question that arose when I went to go see one in the local showroom...does the SEL have puddle lamps? I noticed it on a display model where there were light covers underneath the mirrors. I haven't seen a night view of this car on youtube just yet...is there any way we can get one from you? You did a good job with this review so I don't see why not.

@teddyhugz99 Yes, my SEL has puddle lamps under the side-view mirrors that light up when you unlock the car with the key remote or exit the car....

WOW. Great review of the tech. I have been debating between the 2011 Fusion and the Honda Accord and I am sold on the Fusion because I love a car with tech goodies. Now I have to decide between the 4 or V6!!!

@MrPenguin098 Awesome...I really like my Fusion so far... great car! I was also torn between the 4 and V6, but finally opted to save money with a 4-cyl and max out on the options instead... so it's worked out great so far. There's not a big punch when you hit the gas pedal, but the mileage is good and I have no problem keeping up with traffic :)

@ThousanWhite Yeah, it was a tough choice. But part of my reason for switching cars was better mileage and lower cost... so it made sense for my situation. I'm pleased with it so far. When I wanna have a good drive, I switch to my '65 Mustang V8 :)
