I ran Houston that same day. I ran a 4:23. You're time is irrelevent. If you finish it's all that matters. I do know what it's like to be out there knowing you have several miles to go yet you're totally drained.
I ran the Houston Marathon and met the same girl at the starting line. She was really a nice girl. Good job finishing the marathon. It was my first one too!!!!
This is a great story... very inspiring. Thank you for taking the time to put it up on the web... makes me want to go and join Katy fit and train for the marathon.
