  • It's kinda sad to see him go but he had his chance to prove that he can play in the majors but he didn't come through. I remember I was at the game where he hit a grand slam against the Rockies.

  • I was listening to Espn's Fantasy Baseball podcast and they were debating if Brandon Wood was the worst big leaguer.

  • @Joeflacco005 I still would not consider Wood as the worst big leaguer

  • Brandon Wood must be the worst major leaguer.

  • @Joeflacco005 I wouldnt say he is the worst. Lol Certainly a big letdown to the Angels because when they drafted them they had high expectations for him.

  • @MRRUBBY They did. Problem was, they got too hung up on Figgins and Aybar to really give him a chance to shine, especially back during that '09 season when he should've stayed up for good. I think the uncertainty of his actual role on the club due to constantly being blocked (and Scioscia's style more suited to speed players/contact hitters) played a huge part in his progress being stifled at the ML level. I can easily see him bouncing back with the Pirates, but needs REGULAR playing time.

  • @Joeflacco005 He Just really didnt have a huge chance with them but last year he did and failed he will turn out to be decent in few years
