  • BFG is blowing out the remainder of their packs on their website.

The multicam Vulcan pack (pictured in this video) is now only $90. Down from the $200 retail.

For that price, I had to throw down on one..

  • $250 for a plate carrier is actually pretty competitive pricing

  • Really impressed with Blue Force's innovation.

  • Does anyone know when this coming out?

  • I am interested in seeing how the armor plates would be retained. I also wounder about sizing, and the different cumberbund prices. Does the $250 include the molle cumberbund or just the plate holders?

  • I like how you can hook that Vulcan pack onto the back of the plate carrier.. It's similiar to Eagle Industries' Yote pack...

  • Like msm said I also don't see anything in the way of shouldering a weapon. No buckles, just nylon. This vest looks like the smallest and most versatile vest I've ever seen.

  • oh snap, thats what those buckles are for on my Eagle rig..i'm such a dumbass!

  • Looks pretty good, but how shaky is the backpack while running?

  • love this carrier!

  • I can already see one problem with the detachable pack. While it solved the problem of another set of shoulder straps getting in the way, it created the problem of needing another person to attach or detach the pack from the top buckles. If you need to do this yourself, you will have to take the vest of and then you become exposed without the plates. Just an observation, I do like the webbing in multicam though.

  • @1IdeaAhead Just another reason why you don't go to war alone :)

  • @1IdeaAhead Assuming the armor carrier is adjusted to properly fit the user, it is not at all difficult to reach over the shoulders and release the buckles. As milspecmonkey mentioned, it can also be accessed by a team member if the user doesn't want to drop the pack to dig something out. Either way, it's still much easier than trying to access a pack that is MOLLE-ed onto the back panel. Worst case scenario, the user can just use the shoulder straps as normal. Thanks for your interest!

  • Did they think that you have to shoulder you weapon? Looks impossible with that carrier.

  • @GVMeNProDucTionS I don't see anything getting in the way of shouldering a weapon....
