the 24 hour drinking has never arrived since a 24-hour license is so prohibitively expensive, and can be quashed by any local council (that'll be all of them then).

The asylum seekers haven't flooded our nations- they've flooded particular areas, but 100,000 people in a population of seventy million isn't really worth considering- besides you must be aware of how many asylum seekers came from lands we invaded...
