Brandon Flowers has revealed that his debut single will be a double a-sided effort with 2 tracks called 'Crossfire' and 'On The Floor', both tracks are expected to feature on his debut album 'Flamingo' which is due out in September.

Then they added a letter and another "piece" of the song every other day until they got where we are now with everything but brandon's voice. So it should be complete pretty soon....the 16th by the latest.

Another pointless solo album. This sounds like it could easily be a Killers song. It's not bad, I just never understood why some artists do solo projects if they sound exactly like their original bands (i.e. Dave Matthews). Even though it kinda sucked, at least when Gwen went solo it was something she couldn't get away with in No Doubt.

I think I've listened to this about 18,000 times so far! It's so good... I LOVE the Killers and Brandon is literally the heart and soul of that band by being the chief lyricist so how could he ever do wrong with a solo album. There's no break up on the horizon the other guys just needed a nice break because they have essentially been on tour with very few real time off, other than recording, since 2004 when they laid Hot Fuss on the world!Some time apart will do some great things for The Killers

Kind of like when My Chemical Romance went on a break, Frank Iero (guitarist) started his own side band, LeAthermouth, and toured. MCR is back together now almost done recording. I have faith that The Killers will be back together in no time. Looking forward to the next Killers album!

So besides me believing it is just a harmless break from recording, they have a contract obligating some more production eventually. The Killers did not split. I don't know where people keep on getting these numbers and ideas, but they're not split. In fact, they just re-signed with their record label. Why do that if they were breaking up? Brandon is doing this while everyone else wants to rest, and take the rest of the year off or so. Brandon doesn't want to stop.

I'm a huge Killers fan, but let's be honest here. This song would never get airplay if he wasn't "the guy from The Killers." There's no hook. There are no Brandon synths. There are 6-8 songs on every pop/rock album out there that are as good as this.  First time I've ever criticized his work.
