True it was occupied, but Jews were not killed by Muslims in Jerusalem. The reason the Muslims were so succesfull at first is that they did not mistreat the people they conquered, but said "you can keep your way of life, just aknowledge us as your rulers". Actually, more Arabs tended to die in Palestine, though by no means does that make it right to massacre (Hebron 1928). Don't forget about Revisionists, Irgun, etc. No 1 is the "good guy." And as for the other countries, which ones are you talking about? I've never read about that. My grandmother is yehudit from Iran, and Jews before the revolution were treated very well. Then again, Iran isn't an Arab country, so I'm curious as to what Arab countries committed murder to their Jewish minorities.

My grandparents came from Yemen and in Yemen Jews were not allowed to dance or go out at certain times and 82 got killed in one massacre. In Egypt Jews were threatened in Syria and especially Iraq like the Bukharian Jewish Massacre.

My dads side is from Iran, but my mom's side is from lebanon, and before the civil war Lebanon was the only country in the middle east with a growing jewish population after israel's creation. Yes many Jews from Arab countries arrived here. I personally don't get a long with Arabs but there are many nice ones who I noticed really want peace. My grandparents left Yemen to arrive to the land to our ancestors but although they left to persecution they loved Yemeni Muslims b/c not all hated Jews many love Jews for the rich culture we Yemenite Jews gave to Yemen. Maybe one day your mom and dad and you can apply for Israeli citizen it is very easy and Jews even Palestinians get it fast.
