Yes it is the same 5 petal cutter for the 3 main layers. Then a metal cutter fractionally larger than one of the petals on the plastic 5 petal cutter. The spoons I find are not needed. Check out my video, sugar art by louise

there are a million tutorials out there ,and a million ways , I learnt via her link on flickr after failing miserably from other tutorials.

why Franncesca's way worked , were the little hint nuggets along the way that made the difference .
