First of all, if the game isnt fantastic then it just isnt worth my time. There are plenty of truly fantastic games out there, that i just dont have the time to put up with squares shit anymore, and I havent for the last decade. FF13 is such a turd, a really unbelievable turd of a game. Square really peaked w/ FF IX, and totally dropped off a cliff after X
So nobody loved all FF games but me!!? And they call themselves FF fans when they choose only one FF game as their favorite (FF7) and BITCH about other FFs. They make me hate FF7 when they talk about it like THE best thing ever!! It's all in your mind, you love it cuz it reminds you of you stupid childhood NOT bcuz it's the best. To me, all FF are the best, but I like 13 more. Now stop bitching yeah I'm in LOVE with 13 it's my opinion so fuck off. (like we're not allowed to love FF13!!)

It doesn't have to meet caliber of 7 but 13 is shit regardless 12 isnt 7 status but its good we would never say ff13 is a good rpg they made it linear don't let you choose your character until 30 hours in and at the point you get open world they took everything about an rpg and took it out thats why we hate it not cuz square fucked up
But another thing i'd like to say. Uhm. Square Enix is kinda doing nothing wrong really. They make a couple good games, and with a couple good games comes fanboys who are a large part of the gaming community. Heck for all we know FF fanboys probably bought 2 copies just to suck on sony's (beep) but since Square Enix is aware that whatever they release will be aw'd they slack off and continue to watch the money pour in. (Especially with those graphics. Big + to the fanboys)
I disagree and ff7? most overrated and overhyped game ever made.
I think ff6 is far superior.Also,i feel like the problem is that square slaps on the label final fantasy and everybody goes googoo gaga because it has pretty graphics.Look at the people who defend FFXIII.
@DarthJoshReturns there is a difference between being biased and defending something because its square and every product therefore is infallible,and then there is the difference between saying:you know what? i liked a game and no i'm not a fanboy,this game doesn't deserve being hated on.
Examples of games that get bashed and i feel too much:metal gear solid 2 and FFX
Games that get blindly defended and claimed as infallible:ff7

Personally,i don't care about graphics and people shouldn't care either since graphics don't make the game.I also think that late 90's still had really good games like:parasite eve 1 and 2,legend of legaia suikoden 1 and 2,wild arms etc etc.1990's was a very good era for games.
