  • It's all right. This is some good stuff. Better late than never.

  • This was @ the fairmont or Wolfgangs in SFO. We were indeed working up a new band at this time, JB and the band parted co. because of his abandoning the entire troupe a few months before, the core of the band went to Atlanta and started out to form a new and independant band, and Jimmy died (Nolan) and James worked his ass off to prep some new and very green guys to hit the road with.

  • You've done a great service to us all Isaac and I thank you so much!

  • No need to apologize: love the stereo fiedlity - alotta bottom and drive - unlike the "commercial" releases at the time.

    Thank-U.

  • Something tells me that this is probably a 2am show. I don't know....it just has that "I've done two full shows already" vibe to it. I don't recognize that tenor player standing next to Maceo or the background singers, either. Maybe Mr. Brown was auditioning new people? They're missing all the hits on "Get Up Offa That Thing". But THANK YOU brother Isaac for putting this up.

  • The band is bad......... that little piece before james comes on stage....... just out of sight.
