  • The official future Michael Phelps, right here

  • I have seen lots of ISR babies roll on their backs, but never saw one actually swimming like this little cutie!!

  • This is great! My 2yo can't quite swim face down yet, but ISR did a great job of teaching him to float & scoot around on his back so he can reach the steps or edge. Such a relief to know these kids can help themselves in case of an accident!!! I am a big believer in ISR!

  • wow!

  • That's impressive.

  • wow that is so cool.. i barely learned how to swim last year, and im 18!

well i almost drowned once, my uncle thought it'd be cool to make me go down a water slide when i was like 7... needless to say the lifeguard had to save me! =/

  • i could swim when i was 4-5, that's when i joined a swimteam.. this is very impressive! how he just knows to turn on his back to breathe. cool!

  • oh shit! thats amazing! good patient parents! :P

  • i learned how to swim when i was 9 because one day at the jersey shore i almost drowned and passed out so the lifeguard had to save me

  • i knew how to swim since i was 1 1/2 something like this. but one day when i was in a pool my bathing suit got caught to a nail that was sticking out of the light at the bottom of the pool. i did what i was taught but it was stuck on rlly good. after about 1 minute i started to loose breath and i thought i was going to for sure die. then something came in the water and saved me. to this day no one knos who it was or is!!! i feel like it was my guardian angel!! =)

  • I was a late learner...i didn't learn how to swim til i was 13 lol.

  • omg! my kid is getting some swimming classes!

  • Sweet! I didn't learn to swim until I was like 3 or 4. That's totally cool.

  • well considering the amount of babies that drown each year this is not the case. Most of the babies you see on here have grown up in the water and trained from a very young age.

  • wow. i no a 2 yr old that wont even let his dad hold him in the waterr. thatss soo cooll!

  • ISR is a specialized swimming program for infants & young children that teaches the babies to roll on their back to get their air. You can see this in the video. He swims underwater and then rolls to a float to get air and then turns over to keep swimming. The beauty of the float is that when its taught properly by a Certified ISR Instructor, it is sustainable for long periods of time, giving the baby critical aquatic survival skills

  • I'm 18 and can't swim. I feel too bad

  • im 16 and i cant swim either

  • im 17 and if u throw me in a pool, ill go down like a rock and stay there lol

  • aww how adorable =}

  • i seen somthing on tv about babies being able to swim underwater apparently they are able to do this from nearly newborn and the vid was amazing as was this :)

  • Babies and most mammals are born with an instinct to hold your breath and move your legs while underwater. Quite breathtaking no pun intended...
