  • could you make a tutorial on the single shot

  • shit!!

  • thats smart the repeting crossbow very coom

  • are you raping the reapeteing one

  • dude, nice one, but can i suggest you use a few more strings, cock them one by one, then put the bolts, then fire. may make it more powerful.

  • why does everyone in modern time make the clip so enormous the chinese made it half that size and could still get the same amount out

  • You could still use a nice stiff bowstring on that thing, which would give it a lot more stopping power.

  • do you have the step by step instructions and materials needed goood job on the crossbow

  • 1:03-1:08 JACKOFF TIME!

  • dude thats awesome and hey they have a show called deadliest warrior and it hade the single shot and repeating cross bow

  • dude how old are you. other then the bungie corde sting, thoughs are realy good. there are some realy good tutorials online for how to make a flimish twist bow sting. I make bows my self. it isn't hard. keep it up man, you got talent.

  • ngocquang19877

It is not such powerful as single shot chinses crossbow, so people often put deadly poison on the arrowhead. But the single shot chinese crossbow is really powerful. The most powerful one can kill anyone out of 500 meters. For this reason, this weapon is still highly controled now.

  • can you kill a cockroach with that stuff?

  • crossbow was not invented by China, Vietnam by the crossbow was invented it is from An Duong Vuong (more than 2000 years ago, exactly 208 years BC), the Chinese food then pairs of secrets, this is a lie that the Chinese themselves, and you can read about the achievements An Duong Vuong (Vietnam) to know the origin of these weapons

who invented it was Cao Lo (a famous general of Vietnam)

the committee can find out here (search google "nỏ liên châu")

  • @VNHUNGMANH

just so you know, the earliest regular crossbow archaeological find of a regular crossbow in China dates to the 6th century BC, and the repeating crossbow to the 4th century BC, both pre-dates your 208BC "invention", so I have no idea how did you find that story.

  • @VNHUNGMANH sigh... why did the vietnamese act so "korean"?

  • technically, slingshots are crossbows. they both utilize elasticity to store force in their construct and then to project a projectile deep into the hide of your enemy. if only there was a way to combine this with explosives so that multiple bullets could run on just one slug of gunpowder, that would be amazing...

  • thats awsome

  • rlly cool crossbows - love the repeating one

  • Can u make a tutorial on how to make the 1 shot crossbow please

  • and i thought it was just a oversised pencilshooter...

  • Could you make a tutorial on the single fire crossbow? Really need it for my project at school

  • Not cross bows, sling shots...

  • bollocks!

  • shit

  • its really efective in war it almost made some one get a bandaid

  • now who the hell is going to pick all those up!

  • So you just based them off crossbows and a repeater and had a giant rubber band. So a sling shot?

  • is there a Tut. on the single shot ???

  • from wikipedia

The Chinese repeating crossbow is a device with a simple design. Also known as the lián nǔ, the invention is commonly attributed to the strategist Zhuge Liang (181-234 AD) of the Three Kingdoms period, but those found in Tomb 47 at Qinjiazui, Hubei Province have been dated to the 4th century BC.

The repeating crossbow was introduced into Korea by King Sejong, who ,during a trip to China, saw the weapon and was impressed by its mechanism.

  • Nice "Zhuge Nu" style crossbow. You'd do Kongming (inventor) proud.

  • make a how to for the singgle shot :]

  • im not trying to bash you but those are sligshots. a bows power comes from the bow not an elastic string ie. a bungie chord. the repeating one is still cool tho

  • @morderfoust read the description! Duh!

  • Comment removed

  • made in china ?

  • Did you by Any chance Get the Idea for This after Watching Deadliest Warrior: Vlad The Impailer vs Sun Tzu?

  • Dude that's a Korean cross bow the Chinese stole the Idea but still pretty good cross bows

  • @12wolfsL XDDD that's right .

Every thing originated in South Korea lol

The history record what's that made in china by" Zhuge Liang" in 770 BC - 221 BC

The time called "Warring States Period"

  • @12wolfsL yes of cos,

Korea is where human culture started

    LOL

  • can u make a tutorial vid on how to make a crossbow?

  • @hmoogboigood I did. Check out my other videos.

  • SUN ZUO INVENTED THE REPEATER CROSSBOW U SHOULD HAVE WATCHED DEADLIEST WARRIOR

  • @LedZepplin3853 i love that sow deadliest warrior its crazy

  • Karil the tainted... need i say more?

  • Im still kinda confused on how the Chinese repeating crossbow works

  • @somedood99 It's actually quite simple. At the back of the magazine is a crosswise notch in the bottom over a hole with a peg in it. Levering the magazine forward moves the string into the notch and levering it back puts the peg in contact with the bottom stock, pushing the peg up, knocking out the string, and propelling the bolt forward. Relatively simple stuff, but getting it perfect obviously takes some time.

  • Get the idea from the D&D equipment by chance? :D I'd love to know how you made those! Very nice! ^_^

  • Gotta love medieval bolt action. XD

  • sharpen the sticks get some craptacular fletchings and then do this again ;D then i will be impressed ( i still am more power to ya!)

  • Nice video.

  • the thing about chu ko nus is that they are weak, but the good thing is if you get close enough it's like a medieval assault rifle

  • thanks man could u make a vid with real crossbow action instead of bungee chord? +1 +subscribed

  • cho ko nu, the "nu" means crossbow in chinese, and cho ko means the familiy name of the inventer. called zhu ge in recent chinese , prononcation,"droo-g-er"

the damage of single bolt of the cho ko crossbow was weaker than a normal crosbow's, but the number was overwhelming, 100 archers could make 1000 shots in a shot time, which was a really good surpressing fire and really did some damage

  • @xzh2magick er no offence, but zhuge liang modified the existing repeating x-bow, and popularise it, so they decided to call it zhuge nu, or whatever they spell it.

and it's pronouciation is actually 'jew-girl' . i mean if you use english words to try and say it.

  • awsome!! i just saw it 2day in history chanel and im goin 2 make 1 lol

  • These arrows don't have fins, but actually for the real Chin ones recorded the arrows should have special curves in the end so that it also acts like a fin.

  • was the double shot just fucking itself

  • hey everyone look at my homemade mini crossbow its awesome its my prototype!!!! please take a look thanks!!!!@!!@

  • how do u make a trigger for the single shot?????

  • hey tanx for the tutorial. made my own but didnt use bungee cord.. mines is stronger but tanx....

  • Very good job! I wonder where you got the info for constructing the chinese one. I was wondering if it was an invention of role playing games or a real thing, and decided to check in internet.

  • it is real, it was made like 1500 years ago in china(thnx history channel)

  • your neighbors probably hate you a lot

  • @verdemanthe1 what are they gonna do about it? He has a weapon :D

  • wow

  • the limbs actually flexed if u look at it so us should use strong string to make it a real crossbow

  • The lack of accuracy is due to the lack of power(the tension)and that the arrows are not arrows but sticks ; and with the chinese one(great idea!!!)is because while you pull that thing down (dont know the name)you are pulling with the other arm up thats makes you to lose the control of accuracy and also " that thing " dont let you to wacth where you are aiminig at...you should try puting the cartridge in the lower part of the gun with a spring(or a serieof them) to pull the arrows up and reload.

  • the chinees one is good! butt the accuration is rubish!

  • it wasn't meant for accuracy. it's more of a machine gun than a rifle.

  • i know, but it still is..

  • @SourChews HA HA HA Nice!

  • it wasn't meant for accuracy it's meant to injure people in long time ago in china people used this to defend themselve by putting a tiger killing poison on the tip of the arrow to defend themselves in a war o.O

  • Like your mom

  • relllllllly cool well done make more!

  • Very cool!

  • jakesdman, You just use dowel and cut it to woteva length is preferred.

  • im begging you , please send me a vid of how you made your new arrows as descripted pleasee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    thanks

  • kool

  • yeah the repeating bow is a group weapon, ur screwed if ur caught alone

  • The big problem with repeating crossbows is the fact that you lose power because you need to reload it quickly and easily. Imagine having the ability to quickly reload with the power of a 150lb draw crossbow? Now that would be impressive.

  • Repeating crossbows have been used as recently as 1895 by Chinese military.

  • pp pp

  • There was a very huge crossbow called "Dziang Tse No",it has an range about 500m to 1000m,it was invented in China around 400AD to 500AD,it's very effective against enemy calvaries.

  • Repeat crossbow was invented around 200AD,single shot crossbow was invented around 400BC or 500BC,explosive arrow bow was invented around 900AD.Ancient Chinese were great bow makers.

  • think of in 200 BC when they used the repeater crossbow

ppl would be like ....holy shit

  • tut?

  • Nice!

  • good job, it's called a Cho ko nu, or arbalest, but it's all good.

  • That is the Cho ko nu is a Chinese Repeating Crossbow, this is what we see up here...

The Arbalest are European crossbows that had a steel prod with a Cranequin or a Windlass... (Very, very, very powerful)

  • I did not mean to be rude. : /

Umm, I do not know to much about them. I know the Native Americans can shoot I think 12 or 13 arrows per minute with there bows.

  • neither did I. Crossbows aren't my specialty.

the Native American statement is accurate, but of course there was some variance. I've been shooting for 7 years, just a little tidbit for y'all.

  • xvhjkjkl jkjkl b fg

  • jam*

  • the problem with the chinese repeating crossbows is they jam a lot but are effective

  • ya they do jame quite a bit its like 50 50 chance of jaming lol

  • thats the most accurate repeater crossbow ever

  • nice man

  • dude your waisting your building skills with the repeater by using bungie cord. Please! use flexible bow wood. like hickory, osage, ash, yew etc. you would get sooooo much more results

  • Wow !!!

  • you should make a vid on how to make the single shot

  • how does the single shot trgger mechanism work?

  • lol good but better on mythbusters

  • that was sick both of them

dont listen 2 all the haters and there comments

how does ur trigger mechanism work not the reappeting one

    :)

  • it was very effective in the boxer rebellion as it was all at close range and therefore didn't need to be high powered or accurate it was the peasants weapon as it could be opperated by anyone but it did jam often

  • Cool weapon to be invented a long long long time ago, pre my mothers birth. But i don't think it was all that effective.

  • Yeah Chu Ko Nus!

    Chinese are cool

  • The Chinese repeating crossbow is very impressive. Good to see a young man use his hands in the workshop. Well done. Or I think in Chinese is 'gan de hao'..

  • Nice Job... I really do like your invention. It is impressive. I do like to see someone creating things in the workshop. Yes, actually it is Gan de hao, it means negotiated well.

  • What? That didn't even make sense.

  • @HomeBrewed42

what he mean's is it's illegal to fire it in to the street even tho it's a fake crossbow but still it's a weapon. =/

  • @HomeBrewed42 How does that not make sense??

  • best damn idea ever

  • It's clear i didn't claim I invented it when the video is labeled "Chinese Repeating Crossbow..."

  • @arbiter410 actually sun tzu used it in about 500 bc

  • @arbiter410 u cant even make one arbiter so stfu

  • badass...seems like bad aim though

  • Correct term for the chinese 'automatic' crossbow is a Cho Ko Nu.

And what you made is badass brosif.

  • awesome!

  • wow that is cool , i have never seen a crossbow like that !!! cool

  • that chinese crossbow look like a water pump but its stil cool

  • Thats not bad. They might not be very powerful, but i like your "repeating" crossbow...If it only would be stronger!Awesome

  • Cool, and impressived. You are the next generation of inventors

  • you do realize that this was invented about 1000 - 2500 years ago.

  • yea ive seen it somewere in some old history books or movies...

  • yahhhh....y next generation of inventors???this crossbow was made long ago...u should check ur history...

  • nice!!

  • siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiik

  • Very nice repeating chinese xbow :)

  • Is the magazine supposed to move too ? (in the repeating crossbow)

  • yES

  • a lil advice. if you want the repeater bolts to fly straight get a segment of straw cut one end a few times and attach it to the back end. it will be lighter than the wood and have more drag so it will fly fairly well.

  • how did u make the regular crssbow?

  • cool, even though not the most powerful or accurate

  • Awesome work. Is it possible to post a vid explaining the trigger mechanism for the single shot?

  • I admire your engineering skills

  • how do u make the chinese repeating one

  • I posted a "how to" video

  • a bit weak, but the concept is brilliant.

    nicely done.

  • Good idea. Top marks but a tad underpowered wouldn't you say?

  • Awesome!!

  • how did ya make the bolts

  • look like dowl rods

  • pretty cool even though you used a bungee cord .. not really a true crossbow.. but the repeater rocked

  • Great job.

  • haha, nice

  • The state i live in prohibit crossbows. the only way you can use one if you have a license for it.

  • new jersy right well this god damn state can suck my big dingaling im making a repeating 1

  • wow!

  • ur damn amazing

  • the design of the repeater in fact, dates back from an old chinese design meant to be handed out at the chinese royal guards to create a barrage of arrows while the royal flees

    well done, kid!

  • cool, but hard to aim ? and your bolts suck but awsome anyway, 5/5 :D

  • that chinese oine is amazing

  • lol! dat is impressive!

  • fuck me, thats impressive mate

    well done

  • actually they act more like guns do, when you are pulling the lever a small peice of wood near the bottom pushes up and moving the string therefore firing the small darts

  • cool!u most likely had workshop at school!right?

  • Actually, i never did. I just like building things.

  • very impressive. :)

  • first repeating crossbows were first made in 1300BC thats "BC" by the chinese "FACT"

  • they also used to poison the tips because the range and accuracy were not as good and they wanted to make sure who they hit would die

  • Fact! BullyFishing93 is a troll ;)

  • Fact! you four years old for calling me a troll. Fact!

  • fact! bullyfishing, your name says it all.

  • name of my boat

  • The repeater's very nicely put together... any way you'd be willing to send me some plans?

  • very nice!

  • xD agreed

  • nice, ive always wondered how they worked.

  • whoa! how the !@^& u make dat thang?!

  • great im putting 5 star

  • thats great man.

  • niiiiice. now make explosive impact arrows and you got your self a good defense weapon

  • damn!
