  • thank's iva90 useful information!

  • @donpedromuzicianorg You are welcome.

  • Can someone explain to me what over breeding is exactly? A dog can only breed quality so many times or what? Why would his seed go bad? Age? What is it? Thanks!

  • @mudshovel007 It's a term put on someone who breeds their animal too much. It's objective, but with large dogs, many feel 2 litters per bitch is maximum. I feel that if the bitch is really excellent, 4 is the absolute maximum. Some feel this is too much, though. The best time for breeding is around 2 years old. Females over 5 or 6 can start throwing unhealthy pups of less quality than she did when she was younger, while some males can produce full, healthy litters up to 12 yrs of age!

  • @TheKavkazianKiller HAHAHAHA Well hello "Borat"! Nice of you to drop in! Thanks for putting a big smile on my face with your hilarious comment! "Yaksemash"!

  • how well do this breed do in warm weather?

  • this dog is not 200lbs... people need to stop exaggerating their weight...

  • @drmosh You are right he is 227 last time he was on the scale

  • sad !! thats bad breeding , like with gsd's and rottys

  • I don't know a thing...except there are show dogs and working dogs and I've yet to meet a show dog that could work worth damn. I've had acd's CO's (sorry america but EVERY CO imported to america from Rus and poland has Newfie or st. bnard) All mine work. They'd never make it in the ring...especially my american lurcher.

  • @GrigoriZhukov no problem Americans ruin good bred stock with all the close inbreeding that is allowed and the sloppy oversight of their breed programs.GSD from "American" lines are a joke and they are sloppy in gait ect. Now the working lines of Europe. Very fine true to the breed and standard. I hope you fine your healthy well bred dog in the breed you love. Loss like this stays with you for years. You did nothing wrong. Through your suffering and sadness we will learn and made a change.

  • This one is a "Russkaia Ovcharka", NOT a Sredneasiatskaia Ovcharka of any type. This one is a Russkaia Ovcharka, not because of size and not because of phenotype...but because of pedigree. His sister is a Russkaia Ovcharka having smaller size, of course.

  • This one is a "Russkaia Ovcharka", NOT a Sredneasiatskaia Ovcharka of any type. This one is a Russkaia Ovcharka, not because of size and not because of phenotype...but because of pedigree.

  • That's not at all correct to call this dog "Central Asian Ovcharka", as a matter of fact this one is a "Russkaia Ovcharka". I don't say that because of his size or because of his phenotype, I say that because of his pedigree. Get informed, people, get informed...

  • beautiful dog i am sorry that he has hip problems and that he has to go through all of that pain

  • You could have got the point across without a full slide show presentation and guitar solo. Just record an audio commentary so people can watch the dog immediately without getting bored

  • Shit this is too depressing. I can't watch the whole video.

  • very good dog

  • stupid western people that breed just for "good looking" dogs

  • that looks like one bad dog

  • i hope my dogs will have no problems when they get old :S

  • Jealousy is a bad quality

  • kara came to me pregnant....I had no idea...only Almaz in the country,as far as I know

,,she had 12 pups...I gave them away to good homes....Kara(zara) n triggers have had hip scores were fine,,,get off my fucking case Donna

  • I have an Almaz Bitch...no problems with her hips...She was imported....I have her son too...they are stunning dogs...have no problems health wise....Just shit bags lol

  • every kennel has at least one bad litter , none is perfect cause the genes are not perfect , every kennel has a trait , if no kennel were to select for big dogs , then they were all the same , selection leads to better dogs , they select big dogs , then the ones big with no problems and so on in 5-10 years you will have better dogs , and it seemes to me that it is a dick move for a kennel to bash on another kennel ,

  • Mister Twista's attitude ... I'm embarrased for you for being so reactive and unprofessional... You only make matters worse if you respond so childishly. Mind your manners and you MAY have turned this situation around.

The good thing that came out of this at least is AWARENESS, for people to look into hereditary diseases or problems that you could expect with certain breeds. Any first time dog owner should make sure that the professional opinion they get Is professional. All breeds=pros&cons

  • Mister Twista's attitude ... I'm embarrased for you for being so reactive and unprofessional... You only make matters worse if you respond so childishly. Mind your manners and you MAY have turned this situation around.

  • I still prefer the "man made" versions as seen on the link you provided. They shouldn't be bred for defects, but large size isn't a defect when done right.

  • people, just note that this vedio was done by a breeder!!! this is just a promotional vedio ....

  • It's very sad to see this. However exploiting a kennel as "bad" because one dog had a problem that seems to be size related doesn't sit well with me. This kind of thing happens in large breeds no matter how 'good" the lineage is. Giant breeds have joint problems and when the dog gets even larger then the norm, you run into REAL problems. Blaming the breeder isn't always right either. Misterwista I can see why you are upset but lowering your self looks bad more then this video does..

  • whats the music???????

  • avganistan dog as you can se on youtube afganistan dog fight

  • I good bred pit will wear this dog down and fucking kill it. It has been proven. You borat mother fucjkersw need to wake up and get some real fighting dogs.

  • iva90, give me your phone nomber , youar live in usa

  • ну и закормленные азиаты... ето уже не азиаты, а пуфики хз для чего!

  • @TheKavkazianKiller meet up and i will show u whos weak

  • Horrible breeding was the cause of this. Im glad you posted this so no one would ever want to buy one of these dogs from Almaz kennels. This disgust me that they even call themselves breeders. Yes i know its possible to have even the best of lines have a genetic problem but a real Breeder would Own up to this! Almaz kennel is terrible.

  • 200 livres je rigole mon dogue fait 65 kilos et il est nettement plus imposant !!!

Serait pas un peut de Marseille le chien asiatique ???

  • The puppy dog looks cute but hte storry is sad:(

  • Did you sacrifice the dog?

  • wow that guy is rude....so I am sure they have a bad kennel

  • i had a dog he was really nice but one day when we went to the store when we came back we saw the door open we thought he ran away but we found him laying on the floor he got shot =(

  • Hey, at 0:44 it says ""We" was a wonderful dog, full of life!!"

That confuses me. A dog surely did not upload this to YouTube.

  • sad very sad

  • breeding for size and looks is not a bad thing but u shouldnt breed on defected jeans anyways its a nice dog and the whole hip prob dosent seem to be that big of a deal?

  • feel better mister for swearing at a female..LOSER. obviously these dogs are smarter than u.

  • @TheCrythor well thats sexist....

  • all intense breeding for physical traits is sick, and so are the people who buy them because they keep the trade going, sorry, but i worked in a rescue for 5 years and saw way too many dogs with genetic problems, illnesses, dysplacia, blindness, cancer, cerebral tension and a million other things, all because some people like their dogs 'just so' and other people don't give a damn just as long as they make some money :(

  • fuck you iva90! my family sold you that dog & nothing was wrong with him! He has a very strong background and nothing is wrong with his genetics so dont post this bullshit! And fuck you for sayin we are bad breeders. Almaz is a wonderful kennel that my family holds and we never have bad dogs so shut the fuck up!

  • @Mistertwista @Mistertwista Truth hurts! You couldn't find better words, that says a lot about you & your family. The fact is Almaz kennels was breeding for size, for financial gain and did not care what happens to the dogs. Most of the dogs from this litter 95%have been put down. All the pain & heart ache your family Almaz kennels have caused is a crime.I am happy that Almaz is no longer in business.Few dogs that are still living are suffering thanks to Almaz. !

  • @iva90 research research research the breeder b4 you buy :(

  • @iva90 Yeah the female in the UK has very bad HD !!! Poor girl

  • @iva90 love the Flamenco music.

  • @iva90 All dogs developed for extreams, all pure blood lines show problems. Get a mutt, hybred vigour. You gave money for one of these unfortunate freaks. You have nobody to blame but yourself.

  • I can't imagine ANYONE seeing your "breeding" and your post would EVER want to buy anything, even a stuffed dog from you. Clearly, you assume no responsibility for the POOR quality of life you ensured came to be. Nothing wrong? Someone is in denial, angry over the lossed MONEY this ensures, no doubt. GOOD FOR YOU FOR POSTING THIS IT OUGHT TO BE ILLEGAL FOR IGNORANT PEOPLE TO SET UP BREEDINGS AND SELL THE INFERIOR PETS THEY NEEDLESSLY CAUSE TO SUFFER.

  • @Mistertwista Wow you really cant handle the truth lol.Dont want your bussiness to go down in sales?Fuck Almaz LOL

  • @Mistertwista Do you always have a mouth full of garbage?

  • @Mistertwista wow u killed and hurt dogs... your family sucks! fuck u!

  • @Mistertwista Your guys kennel sucks and you are so unprofessional. The dog i got from you guys has horrible problems. I hope you all die.

  • @Mistertwista actually. by the looks of it the dogs that you sell are inbred you idiot! they have genetic problems..... SO DONT SAY FUCK HIM! FUCK YOU IDIOT!

  • @Mistertwista fuck you, you bitch. You ripped me and my brother off for a piece of shit dog that was no good. you told us it was Korean, but we found out it was south Korean. Bitch, pays us back our $50 or we will find you, drag your ass in the trunk of our care, take you far away from your family, rape you and keep you locked up until they can pay us back our money....

  • @Mistertwista man, if your family's kennel is as explosive and bad mouth as you are no wonder they sell shit dogs....

its a fucked up mentality of making money without spending their money on select breeding dogs....

  • 9 1/2 years is pretty decent for a big dog. It is true that Cancer is a huge problem in the bigger breeds. Allot times its what your feeding them.

  • @Mistertwista Just wondering if what you say is true? Please show us the quality dogs that you talk about. I for one would love to see some pictures of your current dogs, include measurements plz. If your kennel is/was so great why are so many different people bashing it? Just food for thought and spewing out F*CK YOU every other sentence really doesn't help you, your dogs or your point. Please try to respond to my points instead of screaming in a raging fit of hatred. Thank You Plz Come Again

  • @Mistertwista the sire of this male is crippled from a line of huge dogs with serious helath issues.

The mother of this dog has a weak topline, and comes from a line that has produced more hip joint issues based on over breeding of Ezon. This is not personal this is basic genetics 101. NO hip ratings on sire or any Almaz dog ever bred.

  • I need to talk to you

  • dysplasia is common in large bred dogs, great danes, labs, shepards etc,all have hip issues. Sda indeed!

  • hey, watch my shepherds on my youtube channel

  • even Labrador had this kind of problem.

Mine died after a CVA. Was horrible...

  • Ya labs and retrievers have chronic back and or hip issues. Tragic.

  • This dog problem was genetic problems with his hips, joints and bad breeders that breed for size by the demand of people

  • would you accept genetical modification for all this kind of dog over the world?

  • its a no win situation , if everyone decided not to take dogs bigger that the healthy average, many of these dogs wouldnt get to be sold to anyone and what would happen to them then is the question bothering me... after some time naturally people would stop breeding for size but what to do with the ones that are bigger now?

  • But if you could have 1 geneticaly modified to no be affect by this problem, would accept this situation or proposition? You know those genetic alterations are coming faster then we think.

  • my 9 and half year old dog had to be put to sleep 2 weeks ago. he had cancer and kidney failure. i know how u must feel.

  • Thank you for your comment. I am sorry for your loss :(

  • @glittergirl77

    god damn dog food

  • @glittergirl77 by chance...were you feeding your dog a nutro brand? ...this brand is causing tens of thousands of deaths in cats and dogs and no one gives a crap!!

  • i have one, his grandpa was a champion dog show winner in russia and he was imported here :D

  • I would love to see his pics or video

  • @Spetsnaz1220 i had a same dog when i was 7 and he had to put him to sleep cos of cancer and kidney problem as well, his grandpa was champion dog show winner in Russia too, do you know what was his grandpa name? was his name Yol?

  • Eto bila nasha bol'! Eto video bilo sdelano, chto b pokazat' ludyam chto delaut ludi za den'gi. Grobyat sobak! Ego bednyazhku mi usipili v 3 goda! Ludi gonyatsya za razmerom, zabivaya cho oni tvoryat.

  • Well its looks like the dog suffers from bad conformation, and it'd be good to see this breed of dog strenghten through introducing a mastiff breed that doesn't suffer from the same problem. Quarter horses are often bred to other horse that have weak rear quarters, and by doing so the horse rear quarter is much stronger.

  • Beautiful vidios! very impressive!!!! Liked it a lot!!!

  • man he is huge,i wouldnt want to mess with him

  • I'm sorry for your loss, my dog passed away in April she was a Bernese mountain dog and almost 11 yrs old, which is a remarkable age for her breed. Your Kara was beautiful and deserved a long life.....he suffered for our mistakes. I'm a big tough lookin guy, but when it comes to dogs i'm a real softy.......i can't look at a dog and not smile. I've just recently volunteered at dogs trust in Ireland

  • I completely agree.

  • humans are the smartest being on this planet yet we've destroyed more than created.

  • very nice

  • This is very sad.

  • Thanks you :(

  • i'm so sorry about your dog :(

  • Thank you . :(

  • beutifull dogs first i have seen / never herd of them .

  • They are indeed . Please visit our site if you would like to learn more . Link is in the side bar.

  • thank very interesting , all the very best from the uk.

  • i think people should breed a livestock dog that is not really tall yet with not much muscle, they should breed a shorter stockier more solid dog.probly by crossing them with the mini bull terriers

  • so is almaz a shit kennel then???? theres a lot of them dogs around a guy in the uk claims they are awesome!! WTF

  • @HinksBullTerrier no its not! its a very good one!

  • beautiful animals

  • Caucasian Dogs, they are best dogs in the world they dont have any joints problems or another problems. The best Caucasian dogs are in Armenia,Georgia,Azerbeajan and other Caucasian countries.

  • they're actually offically Russian dogs and they can have hip dysplasia, obesity and heart problems.

  • Jeez, those things are beasts! They can take down a wolf pack (If they work together)

  • and they do, it has happened many times

  • Very nice dog!

  • Good Dog.

Another name - Alabai and Turkmenian Alabai

    (read a-la-bai - "a", no "e")

  • its weak joints arent due to being over fed this happens to lots of big dogs its just genetic.

  • Very good comment.Thanks

  • Hmmm, I wonder why his hips and joints are all fucked up? Because he is being way over-fed!!!! This dog is extremely over weight!

  • dude give the dog some slack its in a lot of pain and it supposed to the wieght at that size look it up dumm ass

  • Maybe you should look something up yourself you fag, the dog is supposed to be big and stocky, but when a dog has such serious health issues a RESPONSIBLE owner is supposed to put the dog on a diet to REDUCE PAIN and pressure.

  • u just said ur self dumbfuck "its supposed to big and stalty" so why would u even say sumthin like that the dog is in seroius pain and u tll the owner its over fed dude u need to get a life bitch

  • ok first what was the point of this video. and also if u dont chose that one dog. where is it gonna go?! and really was that the lesson of this video?! if it was... choose a better argument

  • i love big dogs but they die fast and its sad

  • I will get blasted for this but if you are using for protection and herding they would be great breed to mix with Rhodesian Ridgeback

  • mastiff cross ridgeback

  • I only say that because the ridge would help with joints and the have similiar ancestors RR are very adaptable to most and also have Mastiff background just food for thought

  • in my country we never kept the line too pure

they were like 3/4 to 1/2 pure something like that

    it was mix

but they still got the job done and were relatively healthy for a dogs that size, but they never got to the point were they were 200 that is just animal cruelty to feed a dog to a point where it gets health problems.

  • Like i am from Bulgaria, southeast europe and i have both a kangal and a alabai, those 2 dogs are unseperate,i mean they love each other but when they fight i gotta like tranqualize them both so they dont kill them selfs or worse, someone else :(.But otherwise they are amazing dogs,The alabai is stronger and tougher, more berserk, but the kangal uses his head he is strong too but doesnt go like insane when fighting or shit like that :)

  • your from bulgaria why dont you have a karakachan i had one and she was the best dog ever i saw her whip pittbulls and all other types of dogs that came to our country home lots of dogs in the texas countryside she ran her own gang that ran our whole area its a shame that u live in bulgaria and dont have a bulgarian shepherd i had a brindleface white with bigblack dot on side go to karakchan and look at me vs ted ted looks just like mine best dogs safe with kids loyal to the death

  • He is very big, but the Kangal is bigger a little bit and more faster and brisker , if he has to run.

The Alabai normal weight is 75-80 kg to 75-80 cm and this the maximum, what his bones can wear all day .His problem is caused of the too much weight and the to fast growing.

I am realy sorry the happenings, but be carefull with the growing in this breed!

  • Sorry to hear about the hip probs but i had a rotty for 13yrs yes 13 n most of his brothers n sisters had to be put down...I just walked and played a lot with him on his back legs to strenthen him up n it worked but after a certain amount of weight they just buckle or its genetic...i hope your still n-joyin your animal and he is fine.

Great message in the vid though

  • JMO,

Natural evolution has not produced an over sized K9 since the Dire Wolf, (Excuse spelling) There is no real advantage for a dog to be heavy set and slow and clumsy. They aren't big cats, they don't have the bio mechanics for large size. Infantile selective breeding by man has almost destroyed a once noble animal. Any dog bigger or heavier than a wolf will have genetic flaws! Evolution has proven the wolf is as big as they should get!

  • thats sad. but hes a goodlooking dog other then the hip problems. is he still alive?

  • Breeding, and especially this kind of breeding is highly unethical.

  • why?

  • Did you watch the video? They experience pain and suffering from hip and leg problems early in life because people want bigger dogs.

  • Thanks for your comment

  • So true

  • Myyyyy Gooodnesss!

That's a Beauty! Beautiful animal and it's sad that these things happens to a beautiful Giant!

I never seen this kinda breed, but thank so much for showing to us all. Now it makes me I want to buy this one 2! =)

    5/5 *****

  • lbs ? What is an lbs ?

  • seriously?

  • Not really. But I prefer kg ;-)

  • an abbreviation for pounds (as in weight). it is used in the united states.

  • Yeah....like inch and ounce and the rest of these

nonsense crapp wich you can't devide by two::::)))

  • aw poor thing RIP

  • it's just so sad :"(

    R.I.P.

  • For the novice breeders in this breed.

To use the excuse"the owner let this dog get fat" as to blame them for the dog having Hip Dyplasia, and not proper comformation for his size is WRONG. Dyplasia is inherited period, loose hips yes can be affected by gaining pounds.

But breeding FOR HUGE dogs without screening for HD and breeding BIG enough BONE to uphold a 200 pound dog caused this cripple NOT the owners!!

Sire of this dog is a CRIPPLE.

  • Comment removed

  • There is no proper comformation they are mutts, and any large or tall dog has a risk for hip Dyplasia, no matter how it is bred or the breed period!

  • The risk gets lower the more generations of GOOD hips you breed. His sire is a CRIPPLE and his mother oFA Fair. That was a recipe for diaster. Father should NOT of been bred and mom should of been bred to a OFA Exellent

  • What is sad is a breeder in the UK is peddling his pups AFTER they are BRED from this very same Almaz Ovcharka line.

And of course NO hip results.

I am getting calls with Almaz dogs in rescue every month. And the ones NOT in rescue have No Pedigree. Sad

  • he doesn't trot..he juss walks, god bless him. <333

    RIP

  • R.I.P.

  • :( Thanks for your comment

  • loosing a pet, is loosing a loved one so close to your heart,

    My condolences

  • Thanks for your kind words

  • You took care of him well and he died peacefully

  • Yeah my dog died (German Shephard) but it hurts just the same they're like family to ya. Sorry for your loss I know what it's like.

  • Losing a dog is terrible. My Dane died last year, she was 14 and her back legs finally gave out on her. It was an awful, tragic thing to witness.

    My condolences.

  • I'm sorry for your loss. I had to put a dog down in September due to herniated discs in his neck.... I love giant breeds... newfs are my favs...

  • this dog is fucking sad, look at his tail.

    he is miserable.

  • He is gone :(

  • puppy face if people cared they wouldnt get hurt im sorrry is he or she still alive

  • Thank you for your comment, but he is no longer with us.He was put down in March 2008 :(

    Sad very sad

  • up to 12-15 years

  • You're fortunate that the breed can live so long--for such a large dog, I would have guessed six or seven years max!

It wouldn't surprise me if the dog has hip dysplasia, but it's possible that he has degenerative myelopathy (DM). Does he let his hindquarters sag? You could turn one of his back paws over so that the top of his paw is touching the ground--if he doesn't correct it immediately, it could be DM. DM can't be cured, but there may be some treatments to slow the progression.

  • The breed does live longer I have a 12 year old and my big male lived for 11 years.

Its breeders who breed for giants and dont screen for dyplasia that cause this.

  • ho long do they live?

  • i had a sheperd with bad bag legs we ended up shooting it when it was about nine once the back legs go out do urself and the dog a favor and put it down same if its epileptic ull save urself and the dog a lot of pain

  • make him skinny

  • I have seen way gianter

  • That dog is too heavy for its size. That probably added more problems with his disabilities.

  • He was so cute. Sorry...

  • wat r u doing to that poor dog

  • sure these big breeds played a part for Shepperd's and herdsman dont think they should be pets its just a penus extension mines bigger than yours thing

  • i luvit
