Why all the grunting? That axle/hub isn't that heavy :) .You should have used that cheap torque wrench to ratchet the press.

Remember kids: always wear eye protection when working with tools from Harbor Freight. I've seen those presses and pitman arm pullers explode.

Good vids! XJ's rule! Death Wobble sucks! And don't let anybody tell you a new stabilizer/damper will cure DW - I still run without one.

I have replaced everything but the ball joints trying to fix my DW issues thanks for the vid this is my next fix!

So that ratchet that you are talking about 75 pounds whilst using it, where could I get one of them?

That's just a standard1/2" drive torque wrench, you should be able to get one at any parts store. This is available at advanceautoparts . com for like $28

Hello. I have a 99 cherokee sport that is making a popping or clicking sound when I turn into a parking place or slow turn and it seems to be coming from the drivers side front wheel area. I already replaced the u joint and it didn't fix the prob. Just wondering if you had the clicking or popping with the bad ball joints???

@chumperdink LPS3 is just a rust inhibitor. You spray it on bolts or whatever and it dries into a waxy film that keeps the water (and salt) out. FANTASTIC stuff....
