To be fair, I'm no expert in Road-side Recovery, well top be fair I know nout about it, but I really wouldn't have tipped the HGV over still being attached to it's trailer. Looks like it put a lot of stress on the Cab's chassis.
Badly video...as you put it, (badly written English) is because I'd been there allday and there was a very cold wind blowing from East, and it was filmed on my cell phone. But thanks for comment anyway.
God save all the drivers .. My advice not to drink alcohol nor drugs never never never she is one of the most important causes of such disasters in the care of God
@josjer100 Ohh they had that here years,, the thing is tho , Recovery companices will charge as much as they can to insurance companys.. Why only bill for 1 wrecker & a truck full of airbags when you can bill for 2 or 3 plus asccoiated vehicles. Lmao can you blame tho ? Even I would invoice for a guy in an Escort van with an orange light keeping people away. At least it keeps people in work lol.
Not too keen on the idea of how it was rolled over as for when the tractor unit came over the point off balance the shock loading on the crane working with the amount of reach out looked dangerous. Was'nt it possible to chain the body to the chassis and work from the other side using the top boom and the deck winches?
buggar me this was boring

@WatkoProductions Na it was fine, chassis are designed to twist n shout! The unit was re-cabbed and put back on road.

@WatkoProductions well to be fair how are you going to detach the unit from the trailer when you need to drive it apart after pulling the pin

Was this on the Grain road?

I feel that another wrecker should have been used on the unit, to pull it up as the trailer came up. Doesn't do the unit any good like that.
