@BrokenCapo I agree about Shiro's breathing. Something is not right about all of these cats. Although at first the videos are entertaining, the more of them I see the more concerned I become. I have never seen a cat not react or even open it's eyes when you place something on it's head or body. I do hope my concern is unfounded and hope the cats are healthy, happy and undrugged.

@Americanacat  I have owned many cats and some of them reacted exact the same way Shiro did. All of which were Japanese stray cats. In Japan, it is well known that Western breeds are active and Japanese breeds are calm. Especially when raised with love, they come to trust his owner and let him do almost anything and not bother.

So when I read all these comments accusing the owner for drugging those cat, I feel disgusted. If those cats could speak, they will LOL at you.

@classic1subs The only thing I find disgusting is that somebody would object to voicing a concern of an animals well being. As I said I hope my concerns are unfounded, but until the person who films these videos responds to not only my but many others concerns speaks up, we can only continue to wonder why they are all so mellow. Cats are skittish creatures by nature and that is a fact.

@Americanacat What kind of drug makes cat mellow then? Why do they keep their heads up? How do they suddenly become active in some vids if drugged ? How is it possible to get psychotropic drug in a country where drug legislation is strict ? Do you watch all these videos and your insight tells you they are unhappy, abused cats?

As I wrote before, Shiro's calm attitude is not rare for Japanese stray breeds. In this case the concern is more like a meaningless insult.
