  • "Now where did I park?..."

  • Finally, something to deal with clipping in clothing.

  • @unap16

    ikr

  • I have a question. What is the difference between Apex clothing and UDK clothing? It seems like I was able to get similar if not identical result soleky with UDK without apex clothing.

Can someone tell me the difference between Apex clothing and UDK clothing?

  • for some reason i cant stop thinking that this guy is some vampire hunter dude

  • This is already in Batman Arkham City. On PC of course :P

  • @AurelePyroan i dont think you will even be alive

  • Poor guy looks totally lost :(

  • @Rimlit see my vids&learn herbs as reishi,kelp,kale,dandelion,dock,pine,maca ETC :D

  • why don't they make a game on this?

  • @Tzimisce3

    Lol.....

  • @Tzimisce3 Umm. the Engine?.. theyve already made.. tons.. ? I dont understand what are you asking?

  • @PhenomenalHeadShot He's saying that he wants a game that's based entirely on the Samaritan demo, that was shown a while back with this level of Graphical detail.

  • @Seaction8 In game graphical Detail? well for one.. no console could do it due to the consoles graphical frame rate protection that forces developers to tone it down for console games, and as for Pc, well noone in the world has a computer who can run that as a game instead of a cinematic, except maybe Bill Gates or the President of Nasa.

  • @PhenomenalHeadShot I'm quite sure that my moderately good custom PC from 2010 can handle this. It's not hard to achieve this amount of graphical goodness, with this new version of Unreal 3 and also Frostbite 2 and graphics cards that are now (proven to be) 10x more powerful than consoles e.g. GeForce 580, it seems that the only limitations to a scene's realism are the artists themselves.

  • @unbrokenjack I dont think you could run it as a game.. i mean that'd be like Crysis 2 on steriods inside a tank mounted on the back of a bear wearing a bullet proof vest holding a flaming crossbow with a chainsaw bayonet, all watching you through its tac com inserted ballistic helmet.

  • @PhenomenalHeadShot and i mean THE WHOLE cinematic not just the guy walking around in his clothing. Watch the rest of it.

  • @PhenomenalHeadShot The Cry Engine is much less optimised than Unreal 3 is. Trust me, this is definitely 2011 PC quality. (I'm a game artist myself)

  • Awesome!

  • This is amazing. When will this kind of graphics be used?

Did they use it in GOW 3?

  • This is what I have been waiting for forever...clothes that physically react with the model...it couldn't be that hard.

  • @av3nger3 You didnt play Mafia 2 on Ultra did you?

  • @N4xi

I've played Unreal Tournament 3 and Gears of War. They reacted but not at this level.

  • @av3nger3 Then go play Mafia 2 on Ultra.

PhysX has had realistic Cloth simulation for a while.

Im guessing Batman Arkham City is gonna similar Cloth simulation...maybe even LA Noire.

  • is this motion capture or u made it keygramming?

  • Could you run this on a MacBook pro?

  • @InSaNiTyReiGnZ never macbook pro doesnt have physx and can barley run 1980 games

  • @PockyWord Your wrong about Mac.. maybe 2 years ago you were right... but now the selection of games are growing... I have Dragon Age II on my Mac and the graphics are amazing. OpenGL is just as capable as DirectX...in the past no high profile game developers supported Apple. Now the game has changed... Dont believe me? check out watch?v=LaxkgUUs2gE

  • @CountDollarz And I bet that Mac costed as much if not more then a HIGH END PC. Which could max that game out without a problem.... Yes, some games do go over to the Mac. Hell I wouldn't be surprised if they got no profit or very little profit out of Dragon age 2 on the Mac... Factor in the amount of people who buy Macs. Factor in the amount of people who buy the very expensive (gaming capable) Macs. Finally out of those people, the amount that buy games for Mac...

  • how to get such good graphich on a PC game EVERYBODY HAS TO STEAL A COMPUTER FROM NASA!!!

  • I cant get over that his forearm looks to small : \

  • @thedazdaryl damn you, now I can't un-see it.

  • Very nice, but I seem to have one comment. I have been working on a fully solar warfare simulator (randomly generated planets and everything, spaceships, nukes, missiles, destructible planets and buildings, backholes, wormholes, etc..) I keep on emailing you guys about rights to apex, BUT YOU NEVER RESPOND TO ANY OF THEM!!

  • @shakemyass9878

Everyone with an account on NVIDIA's developer support website has access to APEX and related content creation Tools. The EULA explains what is required to use APEX and PhysX in a game for free. Since you have an account, you can just download the APEX SDK as you have already download the 3dsMax APEX plugin. You do not require any special permission to use APEX to create content as seen in this video.

  • @BobWhiteco Oh, so I can get it now and then register later when I am ready to publish? I thought when you are going to make a commercial game you have to send NVIDIA an email first. Sorry for the trouble, and btw What do you think of the game idea?

  • @shakemyass9878

When you download the SDK there is a click-through EULA which explains the notification and attribution requirements for using PhysX/APEX in a game.

  • @AurelePyroan

hhhh not exactly . may be 2014

  • Typically, a Human standing in a reference pose (Arms in a T, standing upright.) anatomically follows a rule that their armspan is approximately the same (including the width of their torso) as their height, his arms appear to be the proper length to meet that common criteria in Human Anatomy.

  • God I came wait till thee new consoles come out

  • As long as we have consoles like ps3 and the xbox360, we won't see this technology in the works. Mafia 2, yes, but it wasn't fully integrated in the game either.

  • Make a game out of this character ASAP!

  • @DurexDurpaneu2 A bladerunner game?

  • The natural flow of the coat looks so incredible, I hope we get some games using this. I wish TOR had this to simulate jedi robes.

  • Is it just me or do the arms seem weird, like they are constantly bent rather then being straight, at least at some points?

  • @Philter123456789

    That's human arms for ya.

  • @Philter123456789 the arms seem weird because they are proportionally too short compared to the legs. Stand up and look down at how low your hands reach relative to your legs/waist; his don't reach as far as they ought.

  • @hazedrone69 Oh yeah, no shit lol

  • @hazedrone69 but his arms are also bent if he straightened his arms they would be right, i agree it does look strange i dont think the sleeves of the coat help much eaither peace!

  • @hazedrone69 Well maybe it was a birth defect asshole lol
