You BBQ Pit Boys know your stuff! Now all I do is look for your postings! I made the stuffed lobster for Thanksgiving!! I smoke & deep fry turkey throughout the year, the wife wanted something different! Now she wants stuffed lobster every year! Can't wait to try more of your recipes!
Mr nima...i know you persians always have something to say about yourselfes.....my husband is persian 2 ........if americans want to say that thats kebob...let them call it the way they want....nobody asked you about the kebob origins and history...........and.....i know you hate pork taste.........................im nota persian but i know you like just talk toooo mutch...:):):)
I like it with zebra stirpes peeled aubergine, extra virgine olive oil, chilli flakes&pouder, fresh minced garlik. But with Lamb. After it's done, I dabble crushed pistachios on it. hmm
@BoraSedThe traditional meat for kebab is lamb, but depending on local tastes and taboos, it may now be beef, goat, chicken, pork; fish and seafood; or even vegetarian foods like falafel or tofu. Like other ethnic foods brought by travellers, the kebab has become part of everyday cuisine in multicultural countries around the globe
@BoraSed Kebab In Persia, however, kebab includes grilled, roasted, and stewed dishes of large or small cuts of meat, or even ground meat; it may be served on plates, in sandwiches, or in bowls.
@BoraSed Kebab (Persian: كباب, also kebap, kabab, kebob, kabob, kibob, kebhav, kephav, qabab) is a wide variety of meat dishes originating in Persia , and now found worldwide. In English, kebab with no qualification generally refers more specifically to shish kebab served on the skewer or döner kebab served wrapped in bread with a salad and a dressing.
This video was the only twelve-minutes of sanity I had all week, replayed it few time when office becomes hectic, called order into butcher for Friday night pickup, "and through the miracle of time", in firing up the Q, come rain or shine. Thanks Guys.
@jj310562 - They cook alot of their food INDIRECTLY...meaning you dont want to cook right overtop the fire and heat, but more to the side so the food can get cooked thru without burning it
Well said, also it gives you a very hot portion to cook with and then a cooler area away from the coals as well. That allows one to "sear" steaks or what have you and then move things away to finish cooking thoroughly.
Another great vid boys. I do similar 'round these parts. Nice thing about kabobs is ya can add whatever ya want. Kinda like pizza :) I've been known to throw on some pineapple. Shrimp also but I add those to the ends later as they cook so fast.
I forgot to mention that I've never tried bacon like that. I was always afraid of a fire starting. But you've shown it can be done. Haha, if there's a way to start a bbq fire I've done it.
Haha good one djshptokan :) Seriously though, I'm not that terrible of a griller but I've sure ruined a few meals over the years lol. I've seen the Pit Boys smoke their bacon like that in a few of their vids so that looks like the way to go.

I should try this.
