This is a copy of the Pak-Mor Load Liner rear loader because the packer panel is flat, not ribbed on edge than this, and the cylinders positioned outside the hopper for more accesibility to replace, and the controls with two levers.
Is there any reason why european designs have the hopper sweep plate open less, crushing objects in the tailgate rather than sweeping them into the body? American designs seem to be the opposite of this.
a lot were originally designed to run continuously packing, so a larger hopper isn't needed - Semat Cargopac and JA Swinglink are 2 examples. The Dennis Eagle Phoenix has one of the biggest hoppers and packer blades of the sweep-slide type over here. but don't forget our vehicles are smaller than yours too which makes a difference to loading. Over 8 feet 6 in width makes a Wide load here
crushed up so much damn furniture in my garbage truck & my truck does a better job of it. Love crushing up big pieces of furniture/ that's where garbage should end up

Not bad at all, one of the best crushing videos I've seen so far. I do remember the short time I was in England, bulk rubbish goes to a central location so it must make for some very interesting pick-ups. In the US, the only comparable opportunity we get is when someone moves and puts an awful lot of stuff to the curb.
Haha great vid ! I've seen before a garbage truck crushing a sheet of glass panel before. When the compactor comes down the glass shatters into millions pieces with a loud shattering noise. Awesome ! Glass fish tanks aren't spared as well.
I've seen oranges as well (in the chinese temples) . Throw in sauces , food scraps and water . When the compactor crushes all this together , all the sauces,water and curry all oozes out of the truck onto the pavement. And its alot of it ! Yucky !

the thing about the Dennis Eagle (I think thats what this is) is that it leaves about 5 inches of space between the blade and the hopper floor.
