personally I liked the manga compared to the anime, and I found the anime to be good. The situation is that there are yoma (demons) who eat humans and the claymores (half yoma, half human) who hunt them down. The story follows a certain claymore, go try the anime =D
I know replys to old messages sucks, but I just to confirm what you said the manga is way better than the anime, and if there were ever an effort to redo the anime, then following the story line of the manga would be the best way make it

I watched claymore, so I know how much the anime plot matches the mangas, but still at the end, it felt weird, since in the manga it's more of an endless journey than an endless fight, and the ending was unexpected, the same is true for many other animes, an example crossed my mind is elfen lied, which is quite similar to claymores case,the anime follows the manga, the end is different, I would love to see the manga's end animated though, that would have been quite a sight, don't you agree ;)
If you haven't read the manga already, I highly suggest you watch the anime first. I keeps you hooked and really shows the characters' abilities really well. After the anime, then read the manga. You'll catch up to the manga in no time though because ieach chapter comes out painfully slow.
Having the audio clips from the actual series made it kinda hard to hear the song, so it was hard to watch... I would recommend fixing that in your next AMV. ^^;
I actually kind of like the audio in it. I feel it adds to it a bit. :)
