Haha; Originality, 'the bar', you know in the last ten years Jay Reatard and the Reatards put out some solid rock records, and yes some of it was just really fast paced old rock n' roll songs, but you know it was all GOOD. those bands set the bar 4 punk so high that every good punk band sounds like the sex pistols, they r the backup poster band 4 punk(sadly the ramones r the poster band 4 punk). but u can tell they use a slight mix of alt. melodies and combined that w/punk so they r original a little bit

They even record so that it sounds like old analog. Anyways, it's a different time now I guess. I just want something really new. I'll keep dreaming.
