I bet i beat all of you my brothr who just passed away unexpecedly at a young age and i went to the first ones in Lancaster, Pa. and i remember it was not very big and the lights kept going on and off it was
so dark that we had trouble finding our way around the stands. We have been going every year this year i don't know what to do he has teenage girls who are dying to go daddy always took them and i then came later. My brother sure loved Creation Festival the highlight of his vacation.
If I recall correctly, the weather was only bad on Thursday night last year, which bumped the Newsboys to very late. I don't think the weather was bad on Friday night.
I don't remember the specifics but at some point weather was bad and he didn't want us to go out there.....oh maybe he didn't want us in the mud or something but I don't think that was the main reason. But I know we weren't allowed to go because I wanted to see Amy Grant and I couldn't.
my brother Lamar and his two children went every year since it was in Lanc. Pa. that was his life. Nov. 5 he unexpectedly died and both girls are now going crazy about daddy taking them to Creation.
I do not know if i can go thinking of him and his early death the only solace he is with the Lord.
This was my third year at Creation, and this was defiantly the best candle light service. I love when we sang "Thy Word". I love that song and it just made it all so perfect.
oml that was amazing! i kept looking behind me to see the candles! this was my first year! this made up for all of the dust, dirt, and discomfort during the week :) God was truly amazing that night!
Yeah, that's why my video gets a little shaky sometimes. It was a challenge to balance the camera while molten candle wax ran down my hand. Great time though.

Me and my group stayed at our camp site because our youth pastor didn't want us to be in the rain and possible lightning.
