I've always lumped Calyx into the Techstep crowd with the likes of Dom & Roland, Evol Intent, Bad Company, Corrupt Souls etc. though.

I'll tell you what though. There's a Glitch-Hop producer called Tipper who's been absolutely owning my sound system for the past two months. I strongly recommend you check him out. Tip-Hop, Wobble Factor & Surrounded are the best albums.

To be fair,you name only relatively known tracks.

I've begun to see DNB as a musical STYLE, opposed to a genre. Basically anything with a breakbeat, a moving bassline and a tempo of 160-182 bpm = DnB, leaving a gigantic space for an artist's creativity to roll in and make it their own. That is why DnB is so diverse, that is why you dig one track and despise the next.

And I fucking love it because of it.
