I would like to add another 108 likes to this (if i could) and lets enjoy all of these great tunes on the 'Tube before these "copyright hounds" pull all of these!!!
first hit for this group.when i heard this for the first time in 1982 it thought it was thebyrds.when the dj said it was the turtles i was surprised.i didn't know they did a bob dylan tune.since then i like their version.found a copy in 1985.found a slightly better one in 1999.great tune.

@RIFFERLOU07 I have a great one. This just sounded so good that i wanted to know what cart he was using because my Audio Technika doesn't sound as good.
I can tell because it's so distinctive; stanton 680/681. They're old-school FM broadcast carts and have myriad stylii options from ultra-fi shibata to disco-duty heavy track conical and 78. He might have the wide 1.0 mil. mono for better mono 45 reproduction. Stanton 500 or the crude 400 if you want to save cash; the 500 was more FM-grade and the 400 AM or for economy record changers, both certainly pretty hi-fi by styrene 45 standards. Pickerings are/were quiv. btw.
I found this excellent condition record (just a bit of cue burn at the beginning) at a radio station about 30 years ago. It was probably played only a few times to record it onto tape cartridges. Kept it in it's original sleeve since then!
@bitterboy100 Don't you love finding gems like these ? I recently got about 20 DJ promos from the '70's that had never been played . Got a lot of Stones "virgin" vinyl also .
This is quite likely my #2 all-time version of someone else doing a Bob Dylan song, behind "Don't Think Twice" by the Wonder Who (really the 4 Seasons). I saw Turtles members Mark Volman and Howard Kaylan perform recently under the names of Flo & Eddie on a show with guys from other great 1960s groups.
Great record! Do you by any chance have the original 45's for "Happy Together" or "She'd Rather Be With Me"? The mono 45 mixes of those stand in stark contrast to their stereo LP equivalents.
Wasn't that written by Bob Dylan?
