the reason he over jumpped was due to him landing awkwardly on the jump before. and every TRUE rider knows "when in doubt throttle out." so he did just that, which pulled him out from being out of control. yet gave him to much speed coming into the next section... thats why he over jumped

it happened in 95 at Budds Creek MD. it was my first motocross event and i remember looking over just as it happened. He was up waay way to high. from where i was standing you couldn't see the other riders going down the hill so thats how i knew he messed up. They ended up naming that Henry Mountain after that incident. Mcgrath ended up coming in 2nd that moto with Larocco winning. But Jeremy won the next race and got the overall win. Henry came back a couple years later and dominated.
