Space Adventure Cobra was a cool animation when I was child in Japan. The main target might be high-school kids. I was so surprised when I watched this on MTV while I was in a university in US. Thank you for post.
I remember Space Cobra, I liked the video, Thanks for the great Memories, good post, sound was poor but hey !, didnt some of us grow up with mono speakers hehe ! Peace from the East !
This is such a fantastic song. Sometimes I forget how much I like this entire album until I throw it in every few years. Brings back lots of good memories.

thats not matthew sweet playing that intro solo
Villa1291 3 years ago
it's richard hell, from the band "television"...he worked with matthew on two of his records before his untimely death...
hippietrucker67 3 years ago
Richard Lloyd played with Sweet, both Hell and Lloyd were in Television, and neither are dead.

It's actually Robert Quine, who played with Hell in the Voidoids, and was playing along with Richard Lloyd in Sweet's band around this time.

I really liked this song and the vid rocked. Manage to track down Space Adventure Cobra eventually and watch it.
I thought the song was called sombody to love as it sounds like the Jefferson Airplane song of that name. Is this a remake?
mangalese 4 years ago
Not a remake, the use of the line somebody to love might be a slight homage to Jefferson Airplane. Otherwise this song is all Matthew Sweet.
