Ali kept in touch via e mail and never mentioned he was ill, As for Melvyn i dont know how he injured his knee but i remember on the tour he needed a couple of pain killing jabs and they never missed a show because of it. Me too. He also had a great heart and soul. I went to see the group live 20 years ago and sadly he was home recovering from throat surgery. This clip lets people know how talented he was.

Richard is still in the group here so I feel like this was done in either 91 or 92...about 2 or 3 years before Melvin passed.
He sacrificed a lot to help keep the group going. Blue is truly missed. R.I.P.
