  • I think this guy is totally incapable of not telling the truth about whatever he is speaking. This guy speaks total truth no matter what.

Big admiration for Thom Hartmann here.

  • Love it how he attacks Clinton and Reagan in the same breath. Go Thom!

  • While I am no Republican, the notion that the Republicans want to purposely crash the economy is ridiculous. How does Thom know their intentions?

  • @ggadguy They want to crash the economy to make Obama a one term president.

  • @flake452 I understand the idea. My point is that this is just speculation on Thom's part. There is no evidence to back this up. Thom just makes things up. The economy will not crash because of one party. It will crash because of Federal Reserve policy, both parties reckless spending, and both parties are in bed with the banksters. We are screwed no matter who gets into office within the next decade.

  • @ggadguy Its hardly making things up a lot of people can see they want to crash the economy, I can see it and i'm not even american.

  • @ggadguy The GOP actions and the results from those actions prove beyond a doubt that they are purposefully doing all they can to crash the economy with an eye to destroy the middle and lower class. Their intentions are as clear as spring water.

  • @ggadguy Senate Minority leader Mitch McConnel stated that the Republican Parties primary goal is to make Obama a one term president. Allowing the US economy to crash while Obama's president gives them political capital in 2012 during the presidential election.

  • @Mestilf22 Mitch McConnel did say that. Yes. But there is still no direct evidence that Republicans want to crash the economy. The economy is going to crash anyway, no matter who is in office, and I saw this coming since the Bush years. The 2008 crash was just a warm up. Whoever the next president will most likely be screwed since the banks are even more over-leveraged, more people on food stamps, budget issues and unemployment keeps going up.

  • I really like the calm professional delivery, the blunt language and the sprinkling of irony. Finely and efficiently written. Thank you.

  • keep spreading your knowledge on protectionism and Made in the USA. trade is everything. Peace
