Something about the bass: this is more than 20 years old bass from ex Czechoslovakia. I have bought it six years ago, repaired and repainted. I spent for bass 200 €, reconstruction costed 100 €. The strings are metal Thomastik medium. I usually used shadow pick-up, later KKK rockabilly pick-up with preamp.

On that clip I had been playing bass for a 1,5 year, so I know its not perfect, but ... Otherwise, I`m a drummer in Slovenian rockabilly`n`roll band EightBomb (check it!)

@TheAlmightyrat There's a number of ways you can do this.There are microphones specially made for the upright bass, but you can mount a microphone in front of the sound holes too. But I take the cheap way out and take a regular microphone and wrap a piece of foam around it and tape it around the open end. Then, I just plug it in and stick it in the bottom between the saddle and the body. And it works great! ;)
