When you get the choice of Auto or Manual, choose manual. When you're moving press B and you'll jump, jump and turn in a direction and you'll start to slide, keep hold of B the whole time. When the blue sparks appear constantly let go of B for a boost.

Im going to ask my parents later if we can buy this for the Wii :P Cause we aint used it in ages, and it seems quite fun.
