This guy sounds extremely legit but I used the internet archive to check the website selling OSR and it was initially sold as a CARPET STAIN REMOVER!. Granted this may not necessarily mean that it is bad for humans and it may in fact be good for them but do they address this anywhere? This chemical is N,N-bis (2-mercaptoethyl)isophthalamid­e, and it has never been properly tested for short or long term safety in humans. If 'Big Pharma' marketed a chemical chelator, designed to clean up toxic waste spills, pretended it was an antioxidant to circumvent the law, and encouraged people to give it to their children, there would be outrage, and rightly so. No one has any idea what the long term effects of this might be, especially in a growing child. I am utterly horrified by this.

I was tested as mercury-toxic in 2003 (stemming from improper removal of dental amalgams) and I had severe methylation issues that affected my digestion. I was sick, sick sick... so I took oral DMSA for 18 months (a gradual, lower dose than originally prescribed) and it cured the methylation issues and restored my digestion... but curiously, it greatly diminished my nervous tics, cleared up my eczema... good stuff. @BPMEX08, Your definition of "legitimate" researcher or publication is of course those who collude in the corporate/institutional corruption of science. Given that Boyd Haley challenges the lies about autism not increasing and not being mercury-related, he appears to me to be one of the most legitimate scientists on the planet. The fact so many parents thank him rather than despise reflects this. The real crooks are those who would deny these poisoned children the treatments they need.

Be very careful when taking anything that can move mercry and other heavy metals around in the body. I have taken OSR at the recommended levels for the last 4 to 5 months and I have some redistribution symptoms. I have headaches, I'm nauseated all the time and have some tingling sensation in my head, I also have all kinds of yeast issues now.

Yeh i couldnt tolerate once a day very well either so ive been taking it Cutler style, around 25mgs every 5 hrs for several days at a time then several days off.

I wish we knew the half-life of OSR. The thing I could not stand about Cutler's protocol is waking yourself up every 3to 4 hours, that stressed me out. I have been off the OSR for months now but my symptoms persist, and I regret taking it, because I may be dealing with permanent reditribution symptoms. My intestines are all messed up now, and my head is as well. Chelation is serious business and anyone thinking about it should proceed with extreme caution. I regret being a guinea pig with OSR.

Get on a good antifungal program. The main issue might be the metals spreading the yeast. Remember to rotate the antifungals so you don't build resistance.

Tried it, I'm still having all kind of pain in my intestines. My appetite is just about gone. I've spent thousands of dollars with chelation, OSR and anti-fungals and I am in no better shape. Chelation can really make you a lot worse.

have you tried the antiparasitics.

Cloves,wormwood, and black walnut. Get it from a good band like kroeger. I'd be screwed if I wasn't taking antiparasitics.

@2scoops76 The problem with people who have "redist issues" is they are not being followed by a good treatment. You need before to detoxify your body ie: cleaning your intestine from bad bacteria (such as anaerobie, entherocoques) and rising up the good ones (lactobacillus, etc).
