Well last I checked most agencies perfer officers to have a degree. Also not everyone can be a cop. First you have to pass your BAT and PAT then pass a pyscological test and a polygraph test with extensive background checks and then you have to make it through the academy. Oh and by-the-way not all cops are dirty, most cops are good. Don't judge officers based off how Hollywood portrays them.

That split second you dont see someone it's over! It happens fast. Cops are trained to use judgement when on the way to a call.
