I never had a problem with Guru being solo, because before hooking up with Solar his Jazzmatazz albums were great. Why? Because he worked with people who brought out the best in him & those albums didn't have Primo on them. But Solar's production is below average & dosen't compliment Guru at all. Not even a little bit. If he wants to continue with Solar & his average beats, he has that right. I just hope Guru gets well, hopefully finds peace with Premier & make better music for his own sake.
